Donia Abdel Aziz: I prefer ensemble casts over single-leading roles

Actress Donia Abdel Aziz has stated that her character (Rehab) in the television series " Hawary Bucharest" (Bucharest Alleys) is a prevailing female personality in the Egyptian society, characterized by being down-to-earth, generous and with simple dreams, and who usually get eventually stabbed in the back by close friends.

Donia added that she does not get intimidated at all by sharing leading roles with an ensemble cast, and that in fact she prefers acting among an ensemble cast over landing a leading role.

After a three-year hiatus from television, Donia returns this year to star alongside Amir Karara, May Selim, Dina and Ahmed Hatem, in a series written by Hisham Helal and directed by Mohamed Bakir.
