Ragab returns home after a three-year-long trip he spent on board a ship in an effort to save money to marry Hamida, who lives with his mother in a hut by the sea. Ragab grows jealous as he suspects that there is a relationship between Hamida and Mamdouh, the son of the owner of the shipping company. Meanwhile, many problems arise between the owner of the company and the workers.

A sailor returns to Alexandria following a three year a long voyage. He is received by his mother and his grown up cousin. He also meets Ramzy, the son of the ship holding company’s owner. Ramzy has been appointed manager of the company and he alerts Ragab to this fact.
