Essam asks for a leave from his wife, Mona, the director of the department he works in. Samir buys a gift for his wife, Samar, and tells her that he is tired of him staying without work and of her taking care of the household expenses.

Essam is jealous over his wife because of her dealing with the employee Youssef, after which Mona asks Essam for a divorce and tells him that she no longer wants to live with him.

Essam asks Mona to relinquish her position as director general of the company and cede her authority to the directorate, but she refuses. Hoda asks for a divorce from her husband, Bassam, and tells her family that she can no longer bear to live with him.

Samir refuses to file a report against a thug who attacked Samar after accusing her of having an affair with him, whereupon he tells the officer to end the matter amicably, especially after the thug talked about his wife.

Hoda's mother asks her son, Hani, to find a job for his sister after her separation from her husband, Bassam. Alia falls for Loai.

Alia goes to Wafaa's house and tells her that Imad is married to another woman besides her. Yazan quarrels with his sister, Hala, after he suspects that she has resumed her relationship with her lover.

Wafaa decides to leave the house and asks Imad for a divorce. Samir quarrels with Samar because of the many problems that arise from her job one after the other.

The thug attacks Samar again inside the pharmacy and gets the prohibited medicine against her will. Imad beats his daughter, Hala, as he feels that she has started behaving inappropriately after her mother left the house.

Mona tries to restore and mend her relationship with her husband, Essam, but she finds resistance on his part to restoring things to the way they were. A man asks for Hoda's hand in marriage from her brother, Hani.

Samar is attacked by the thug again, but as she decides to confront him this time, she injures his hand with a knife. The thug files a complaint about Samar in the police station and accuses her of trying to kill him.

The police call Essam and tell him that his daughter, Lubna, is not at school and that her brother, Yamen, has reported her disappearance. Hala suffers nervous shock after she discovers the truth about the young man she loved.

After Samar tells Louai that Samir left the house and she no longer knows where he is, she asks him to find him and talk to him in order for him to return home. Yazan quarrels with his father's new wife.

As Samar arrives at the place where her husband, Samir, is staying, she tells him that she wants to restore their relationship to the way it used to be, upon which Samir agrees and returns home with his wife.

As Hala is discharged from the hospital, Wafaa sits with her daughter, Hala, and asks her to stay away from the man who has turned their lives into hell since she got involved with him.

Imad looks for his wife, Wafaa, after learning that she has returned to the field of art and acting, after which Imad beats Wafaa, warns her not to go back to acting, and threatens her with divorce.

As Yazan hears his mother admitting that she loves her former boyfriend, he goes crazy and refuses to listen to her or confront her. Samir quarrels with Samar because of her insistence on returning to the pharmacy and working again.

As Bassam decides to marry his personal secretary, he decides to invite all his friends to the wedding. Mona tells Samar that she no longer wants to live with Essam.

Bassam celebrates his and Warda's wedding, after which marital problems arise between them.

Problems are renewed between Samar and Samir, who asks her to choose between him and her work in the pharmacy, and in case she picks the latter option, he'll pack his things, leave, and never return home again.

Samar asks Mona to stop smoking and tells her that it is not the solution to her problem with her husband, Essam. Hani puts pressure on his sister, Hoda, to make her agree to marry the new suitor.

Wafaa decides to return to the field of art and not comply with Imad's request that she reconsider her decision. Hala supports her mother in her decision and tells her that she will encourage her to return to the field of art, which she loves.

Samar thinks that her husband, Samir, has changed and no longer cares about her like before. Yazan tries to restore normalcy between his father and mother and decides to make peace with his sister, Hala.

Yazan returns to his mother and asks her to forgive him for his decision to distance himself from her. Samar decides to keep close tabs on her husband, Samir, in order to find out why he has changed so drastically.

Imad sits with his daughter, Hala, and asks her to forgive him for his failure to perform his duties toward her. Essam is distressed as he learns that his wife has become an addict, whereupon he decides to help her get treatment.

Samir decides to start dating after his divorce from Samar. Mona asks Essam to leave her alone and not interfere in her life after he destroyed it and stopped caring about her treatment as well.

Samar visits her friend Mona's children at home to fulfill their needs. As Samar feels that Essam likes her and wants to tell her of his feelings for her, she decides to take no notice of the matter.

Warda loses consciousness and is saved by her husband, Bassam. When the doctor tells Bassam that his wife is pregnant, he goes crazy as he makes sure that his wife has cheated on him.

Bassam goes insane and is admitted to a mental hospital. The police arrest Essam. Samir leaves his fiancée, returns to his beloved Samar, and asks her to forgive him.
