Umm Mahmoud (Mahmoud's mother) lives a quiet life with her three sons. As the Israeli army invades their village, her neighbor, Abu Khaled, chases down five Israeli soldiers then hides in Umm Mahmoud's house. He starts to teach her sons, Mahmoud, Youssef, and Tarek, about revolution.
