Hend is a young widow who works as a maid, she meets Eid the conman who goes to prison and leaves her pregnant. While Camellia is a divorced maid who supports her unemployed brother and his family in exchange for letting her sleep over in his apartment.
Hend is a pretty and honorable young widow who works in homes as a servant. She dreams of having the right man who would rescue her from her miserable life. She meets ‘Eed, the charming swindler who loves her yet gets her involved in many problems and difficulties because of his deviant character. ‘Eed was sent to prison and left her pregnant without marriage. Camelia is a divorced beauty who also works as a servant. She helps her unemployed brother, his wife and their children in return for them allowing her to live in their apartment. Camelia constantly rebels against her disgraceful situation and keeps hoping to improve her life. She marries a greedy old man who forces her to steal from here and there. Camelia mediates between Hend and ‘Eed so they would marry. Hend gives birth to a beautiful baby girl, Ahlaam (i.e. Dreams). ‘Eed steals some money and got arrested and imprisoned. Hend and Camelia profit the hidden money ‘Eed has stolen and, they take Ahlaam on a taxi trip to Alexandria to fulfill some of their small dreams. The taxi driver and his assistant drug them and rob them and they wake up on the beach and having lost everything.
