Anisa accidentally discovers that her husband, Sayed, is married to another woman, and she tries to find out how much he really loves her. Salwa goes to Sayed's second wife on a mission. Salwa and Anisa's trick ends in an unexpected disaster.

Kamal and his daughter, Laila, go to buy an apartment in October, and he tries to evade Anisa's requests. Kamal's family gets conned in his absence before the police save the day.

Problems increase between Sayed and Anisa. Salwa suggests that she buys a doll and imagines that it's Sayed and punches it whenever a problem happens. The idea soon succeeds and spreads quickly in society, but the family faces a problem with taxes because of the doll's sales.

Laila and her friend learn how to make cookies, they decide to make cookies for Eid themselves. Laila discovers that the cookies were baked with a pesticide instead of flour. When Sayed's family and Kamal’s colleagues eat the cookies, Salwa finally finds that the cookies were baked with flour.

Sayed and Anisa have a fight when she wants to issue an ID. A man comes to tell them that their marriage is invalid, so Anisa moves in with Salwa, and Kamal stays with Sayed. Anisa finds out that Salwa masterminded the whole thing.

Anisa and Salwa decide to establish a women’s association to face the merchants due to the high prices of meat. Salwa suggests going on strike and use alternatives like beans and lentils. The idea works, but Salwa is quickly betrayed.

The two families decide to establish a society to preserve the water of the Nile from pollution. Salwa discovers that hotels are disposing of waste in the Nile. When Kamal runs against Sayed and they get into a quarrel, the delegate proposes that they divide the Nile between them.

When Salwa analyses Laila's dream from a psychological perspective, she thinks that she can become a psychiatrist, which lands everyone in trouble because of how she's influenced by Dr. Karara. Kamal, Sayed, and Anisa devise a plan to make her stop.

The two families decide to hire a guard for the villa when they hear gunshots in the street. The guard starts to rebel and demands his rights, but the family discovers that they are being deceived by him, as he wants to bring his entire family to live in the villa.

Kamal finds some children attacking their friend and he interferes to protect him. The boy tells the family his story and they sympathize with him. As the family searches for his mother, they discover that the child Hamada has deceived them.

A gang attempts to kidnap Laila, but Sayed's son, Hassan, rescues her. Their relationship develops and they get engaged. Sayed is in trouble because of Laila's family extravagant demands. Hassan and Laila agree to remain friends.

Kamal and Sayed travel to Port Said, while Salwa and Anisa try to help Saber's daughter with her marriage. Kamal suspects that Salwa is hiding something, but it turns out that the groom's family already knows that Saber is a simple worker and they go through with the marriage.

Salwa asks Anisa not to cash the check that she wrote her, but Sayed objects because he needs the money. Salwa hires a new maid called Sokkar, but she discovers that she's a serial killer and fires her. She later finds out that she was wrong, and that Sokkar is innocent.

Salwa becomes snobbish after Kamal is nominated for a position in the new ministry. She begins to demand new things and gives promises to her friends, until they discover that the whole thing is a case of similarity of names.

When Anisa discovers that Sayed has married another woman, she warns Salwa about having the same fate. Anisa disappears and Salwa begins to suspect that Sayed has killed her, but she eventually finds out that she was wrong.

Kamal and Salwa's wedding anniversary approaches, and she decides that if he forgets about it, she's gonna make him sorry. Kamal and Salwa celebrate the event and receive gifts. Kamal discovers that Salwa has made great sacrifices to make him happy.

Salwa interferes in Anisa and Sayed's lives. Anisa leaves her house and lives with Salwa, while Kamal and Sayed try to solve the matter. Salwa suspects that Kamal has wealth that he is hiding from her, so Kamal and Sayed deceive Salwa, but their trick backfires.

When Sayed fires Atwa from his store, Kamal defends him. Atwa works in real estate and starts to collect money illegally so he decides to take revenge on Sayed. But the truth is soon revealed and he escapes outside the country.

When the garbage man asks for extra money, Salwa and Anisa refuse and they discover that garbage men make a lot of money. The young people decide to collect garbage themselves. Sayed and Kamal start their own company for collecting garbage. The idea becomes a success, but the project gets attacked.

While four people are being transferred to the insane asylum, they escape from the bus. The driver decides to find four people to replace them with. He takes Sayed and Anisa, and when they get out, they find that they've lost their IDs. When they get back, they find Kamal and Salwa in their place.

Kamal gets sick, and Salwa calls the ambulance but the doctor who comes doesn't seem to know anything. Kamal is transferred to a government hospital, and the doctor experiments on him with the medical students. His x-ray is switched with another, and the doctor tells them that Kamal is pregnant.

When the two families quarrel over the water problem in the villa, they stop talking to each other. When the month of Ramadan comes, they reconcile, but the crisis is renewed when each family wants to see a different show.

Salwa tries to face the electricity and high bills problem, while Anisa and Sayed suffer from routine. Kamal decides to file a case against the government. As the judge visits government departments himself, he discovers corruption and decides to arrest the government and imprison the prosecutors.

Salwa applies for a loan from the bank, and her friend tells her to reconsider and work with them in the food trade. Anisa works with them in distributing products, but it turns out that the goods are expired. Anisa and Salwa get arrested.

Hassan asks his father for money for private lessons, but Sayed refuses and tells him to drop out and work with him in the dessert shop. Sayed wins five thousand pounds in a tea company competition, and everyone starts to approach him, but he eventually donates the money to homeless children.

When the company that Anisa and Salwa invested their money in declares bankruptcy, the owner tells Anisa to take whatever is left from the farm instead of her money. She takes a buffalo home. The police come to make sure there are no buffaloes in the house and everyone hides it.

Kamal searches for a beautiful secretary with specific requirements. Salwa finds out and is worried that he might fall for the secretary. Anisa helps her change the ad, and hire a secretary of their choosing. When Kamal discovers the truth, he fires her.

Kamal is chosen as the manager of the Cocoawa company, and Sayed tries to get Kamal to help him get the tender for the company, but Kamal refuses. Kamal tries to hide the problems in the company from the ministry, but he gets exposed.

Kamal is traveling so Sayed takes him to the airport. They are late as the roads are closed because of an important visitor passing by. Laila is unable to go to her exam. Anisa and Salwa meet new friends in the traffic jam.

A strong earthquake takes place, and Sayed's apartment is totally ruined. The two families decide to stay in one apartment, but an edict is issued for the removal of the building. The two families are compensated with two new apartments, and they find themselves living on the same floor again.
