Rabab, the wife of the businessman Gaber, quarrels with him because he ignores her father's advice in his work. Nassim plans to marry Nada in order to seize her father's money. Gaber continues to have nightmares. Someone named Shahin goes to meet Gaber in his villa.

Gaber gives Shahin money so that he wouldn't expose his secret. Nassim is taking advantage of Anisa the maid, while making Nada fall for him. Farid visits the humble family of his sweetheart Sanaa.

Gaber throws Rabab a party for their wedding anniversary, but he quarrels with her afterward for refusing to have a second child. Gaber sleeps over at his friend's house and meets his sister Shams.

Gaber reconciles with Rabab and she tells him she's unable to have kids for medical reasons. Nassim's mother, Dawlat, tries to drive a wedge between Rabab and Gaber. Nassim wants Mansour to make his grandfather, Kamal, help him with his project.

Kamal throws Nassim out of his office and insults him. Nassim refuses to give the money back to Mansour. A problem at Gaber's factory takes place and he takes the workers' side, even as the factory makes a loss.

Anisa is pregnant and Nassim refuses to officially marry her. Gaber refuses to obey Rabab’s request to give his wealth to his daughter Nada.

Mahrous goes with thugs to beat Kadry, Gaber's enemy, and the prosecution questions Gaber. The news gets published in the papers. Kamal is angry because the fuss is affecting the family's reputation.

Gaber refuses to divorce Rabab. Kadry's men attack Gaber and he's taken to the hospital. After his recovery, Gaber gives his wealth to Nada and Rabab returns to Gaber's house.

Anisa dies during a fight with her family after Rabab incited them against her. Gaber threatens Rabab to expose Nassim's secret marriage if Nassim doesn't stay away from Nada. Kadry continues to create problems for Gaber.

Thugs attack Nassim and warn him to stay away from Nada. Kadry dies in a car accident, and Mahrous gets arrested so Shams asks Gaber for money. Rabab quarrels with Gaber because of his charity work.

Mahrous is acquitted. Nassim asks Nada to have an unregistered marriage. Farid marries Sanaa against his family’s wishes.

Kamal is forced to retire from his job after a cabinet reshuffle. Nada's condition changes for the worse, and Gaber discovers that she is still seeing Nassim.

Kamal accepts Gaber's job. Non breaks into Gaber's house and tries to harm Nada, who is subjected to psychological trauma. Nassim tries to uncover Gaber's secret.

Gaber quarrels with Kamal and Rabab after Kamal takes decisions against Gaber's wishes. Rabab fails to recruit Farid to monitor Gaber's money for her.

Gaber and Rabab are shocked to learn of Nada's unregistered marriage and her pregnancy. Gaber decides to have Nada and Nassim wed legally to avoid the scandal.

Gaber kicks Nassim out of the villa, orders him to divorce Nada, and files for abdicative divorce (khula). Gaber falls into financial trouble. Nassim slanders Gaber in the papers. Gaber decides to run in the elections.

A police officer identifies Gaber, believing that he perpetrated an old crime, and he arrests Gaber.

Gaber is told that he was sentenced to death in absentia 20 years ago for killing a policeman. Nada has a miscarriage. After an investigation, Gaber is released on bail. Rabab decides to leave the house.

Rabab prevents Nada from contacting Gaber, as fifty million pounds are stolen from Gaber. Rabab entrusts Kamal with the management of her two companies. Dawlat asks Nassim to get close to Kamal to put his hands on Rabab's wealth.

The investigation of Kadry's death is reopened. Gaber gives up the villa to Rabab. Gaber searches for someone to testify in his favor.

As Gaber's trial takes place, Azmy testifies against him and the court rules against him. After his imprisonment, Gaber appeals the verdict.

Kamal and Nassim's management causes a crisis with the workers. Rabab files a lawsuit for divorce. Rabab beats Nada for opposing Kamal and Nassim's control of the companies.

Gaber is sentenced to death, and Nada visits him in prison. Nassim continues to give Nada drugs and withdraws money from Kamal.

Nada becomes an addict. The date is set for the appeal. Farid refuses Nassim's offer to give him money if he gets him files from the company.

Rabab resents the fact that Kamal and Nassim are withdrawing a lot of money. Gaber escapes from prison and visits Rabab before hiding in Mahrous's house.

A newspaper article is published proving that Gaber falsified his identity. Gaber goes to Azmy's house to find out the reason for his false testimony, but Azmy locks him up until the police come and arrest him again.

Rabab finds out about Nada's addiction, she loses her wealth, and her villa is seized. When the police arrest Azmy on drug charges, they discover the murder weapon from Gaber's case in his home. Gaber is declared innocent.

Gaber divorces Rabab after he reveals to his family that he is a bastard and that his name is fake. He starts over again. Nada divorces Nassim and gets treated for her addiction. Gaber adopts an orphan boy and continues his charity work.
