The head of the Virtue Party, Mustafa El Hilali, a university professor, is running for parliament on behalf of the Asala district, while his wife, Hanaa, is a lawyer. As Attia is as a candidate of the Unity Party for the House of Representatives for the same constituency as El Hilali, disputes begin.

El Hilali submits to the request of his wife, son and party to run for the House of Representatives with the help of his party and followers, as he is a TV presenter and has a good reputation in Asala. Elsewhere, Attia uses Mayor Hamdi to pay bribes to ensure his success in the elections.

El Hilali refuses an offer to travel or withdraw from the elections by the university president. Attia succeeds in stopping El Hilali’s program and spreads lies to the people of the district that the reason for stopping the program is El Hilali’s greed for a salary increase.

When Attia offers Radwan, his rival, a bribe in exchange for tarnishing the image of El Hilali, he is surprised that Radwan supports El Hilali. El Hilali is shot, and Souad, the repentant dancer, surprises him by saying that he has a daughter named Nancy.

El Hilali refuses to acknowledge what Souad recounted, while she seeks help because the brothers of her deceased husband have filed a case of denial of parentage. Elsewhere, Radwan files a complaint against Attia, claiming that El Hilali was shot because of him.

El Hilali asks Farouk and Amr, his friends, who forced him to stay up at the nightclub where he met Souad, what they remember from that night, and they confirm Hisham's words. When El Hilali visits Nancy as her mother's friend, he admits to Souad that he feels that she is his daughter.

Nancy spends her nights in nightclubs. Radwan sells his house in Asala to join the Virtue Party. Attia abuses his power by transferring officer Alaa to Al Haram police station. Meanwhile, El Hilali fails to tell his wife of what he has done.

Conflicts take place between Attia and Mohamed Abdel Naim, the Brotherhood's candidate. When Attia discovers that El Hilali is lying about Souad after he introduces her as a university professor, he tries to defame him in front of the press, claiming that he is secretly married to Souad.

El Hilali lies to journalist Lotfi, that Souad is sick and seeking help for her daughter. El Hilali’s daughter, Zainab, is transferred for investigation for starting a solidarity project without a license. The businessman Bakri agrees with El Hilali to present a program in exchange for developing the main road to Asala.

El Hilali is involved in releasing Nancy at the police station after a fight in a nightclub with the help of officer Alaa, who wants to marry Zainab. Nancy doubts El Hilali's relationship with her mother, while Attia claims to the press that he is the one who developed the Asala road.

Bakri goes to Lotfi and exposes Attia's lie about developing the road. Meanwhile, Radwan blackmails El Hilali, claiming that his father forged his high school certificate. El Hilali discovers that Khaled, Nancy's friend, intends to take comprising photos of her.

At a press conference, Attia reveals false news about his contribution to the development of roads. Elsewhere, Radwan agrees with Nancy to defame El Hilali, and blackmails him with photographs of him accompanied by Nancy.

El Hilali executes Radwan's request through mediation for Bakri to appoint him to avoid blackmail, while Bakri surprises El Hilali by opening a solidarity project for Zainab. Nancy offers Zainab to help with her project, and El Hilali discovers Nancy's addiction.

Nancy goes to rehab. Radwan asks Attia a large sum of money to take down El Hilali. Later on, the Unity Party asks Attia to resign after the press attacks him. Radwan asks Bakri for money in exchange for the certificate.

Zainab meets Khaled in her project and he tells her that his father is Bakri, the owner of the project. Bakri informs El Hilali of Radwan's request, and El Hilali tells Hana about Radwan's blackmailing. Meanwhile, Radwan agrees with Attia and hands him the certificate in exchange for money.

When El Hilali is released, he is attacked by the press, loses his job and his candidacy. Khaled surprises Zainab that his father knew about Radwan's blackmailing and declares his love for her. As Hilali is fired from his party, he is surprised by Nancy's escape from rehab to stand by him.

Attia is surprised by Radwan's decision to continue in the elections after he opened his company and by El Hilali’s innocence and re-nomination in the elections. Souad is preparing to travel abroad for treatment. When Khaled propses to Zainab, El Hilali refuses.

As Nancy is recovering, she promises Zainab to persuade El Hilali about Khaled. When Bakri talks with El Hilali's friends, he learns the truth about his rejection of his son. Radwan asks the head of the Unity Party for support. Radwan exposes Attia in Asala with his comprising photo.

Nancy tries to convince El Hilali about Khaled, and Souad travels for treatment. El Hilali falsely claims to Nancy that he was in love with her mother long ago and therefore feels responsible towards her. Elsewhere, Abdel Hamid succeeds, and the press exposes Attia.

El Hilali asks businessmen for help instead of Bakri, and he celebrates Nancy's birthday. When Abdel Hamid is concerned about the relationship between his father and Nancy and confronts him, El Hilali falsely claims that he is helping her for the sake of her sick mother.

El Hilali opens a civil society in Asala. Bakri asks Hanaa to for her help to convince El Hilali about Khaled. Meanwhile, Radwan and Mosaad ally to ambush El Hilali, and Nancy is kicked out of her apartment after ruling that her lineage to her deceased father is not proven.

After El Hilali's family takes in Nancy, El Hilali tells Hanaa and Nancy that she is expelled due to the issue of denial of lineage, and looks of admiration begin between Abdel Hamid and Nancy. El Hilali is released after being accused of shooting Radwan with a gun belonging to Attia.

Radwan blackmails Attia, and El Hilali is angry at Nancy for assisting Khaled in getting in touch with Zainab. El Hilali is surprised by his son’s request to marry Nancy. Later on, he is detained on charges of squandering party funds, according to a report from Mossad, the current party leader.

Attia pays a sum of money to Mossad to give up the elections. Hanaa defends Nancy's case, while Nancy helps El Hilali pay the bail. Abdel Hamid leaves the house due to his doubts about the relationship between Nancy and his father.

When Nancy convinces Abdel Hamid that El Hilali is like her father, they decide to marry. El Hilali persuades Nancy to travel to her sick mother, to stay away from his son. Attia and the candidates cooperate without Radwan and El Hilali. The ruling is issued, proving Nancy's lineage to her dead father.

El Hilali obstructs Abdel Hamid's marriage to Nancy and tells them that Nancy is an illegitimate daughter. Hanaa leaves the house, everyone goes to check on Nancy in the hospital, and Hanaa asks for a divorce. Souad confesses to her doctor that Nancy is not El Hilali's daughter.

El Hilali succeeds with the intervention of the Unity Party, and Bakri becomes a minister. Nancy gives up her inheritance. Hanaa informs El Hilali that she agrees to Khaled and Zainab's betrothal despite his refusal, and she also files a khul' divorce lawsuit against him.

El Hilali returns to his position as a university professor. Mosaad is arrested after Attia accuses him of squandering the party's money. El Hilali agrees to divorce his wife, and he loses the presidency of the Virtue Party to Attia.

Bakri and his friends are sentenced to prison, and El Hilali returns to the Virtue Party after Attia is arrested in fraud cases. El Hilali seizes Radwan’s money after ambushing him in a bribery case, and he goes against his conscience and takes a bribe to sell out Lotfi, who seeks his help.

Souad tells Nancy the truth, and El Hilali is surprised by her lie. After confessing all his crimes in the House of Representatives, El Hilali is sentenced to five years in prison, where he meets with all those who preceded him, and he attends his children's wedding under police supervision.
