When Amr steals from his mother, she kicks him and he asks his uncle Abo El-Ela El-Beshry for help. When Abo El-Ela goes to Cairo in an attempt to reconcile Amr and his mother, he is shocked to see the change in his family. He decides to retire early.

Abo El-Ela refuses a promotion and goes to Cairo. Naemat falls ill when she learns that her daughter agreed to marry Ashraf despite her own objection.Amr takes 500 pounds from Mortada and tells him that he can convince his sister to marry him.

Abo El-Ela admonishes Amr for not paying attention to his studies and rebukes Mohsen for singing in a nightclub. He meets Ashraf and beats him for harassing Hala. Amr is arrested for selling pornographic tapes and Abo El-Ela is arrested after a fight with his hotel's employee.

The lawyer Osman has Abo El-Ela released and takes him home. When he learns that the price of Abo El-Ela's land has skyrocketed without his knowledge, he tries to get Magdy to sell his share but Magdy refuses. Safwat offers Magdy a bribe but he refuses.

Rihan asks Abo El-Ela to take care of his daughter Laila and tells him that she has heart problems. Asfour tells Abo El-Ela about the increase in his land's value and that he took the legal papers granting the lawyer power of attorney before the lawyer uses them to seize the land.

When he learns about Abo El-Ela's land, Safwat tells his mother to revive her old love story with Abo El-Ela. Nagwa tells Magdy that she asked to work with him when she learned about his integrity. Abo El-Ela asks Naemat to have a dinner party so that Magdy could meet Hala.

When they go to the wrong land, Abo El-Ela, Asfour and Morad are arrested for trespassing. Abo El-Ela convinces Magdy to marry Hala. He quarrels with Safwat and Mahran when the former disguises his attempt to bribe Magdy in the form of an expensive present.

Magdy breaks off his engagement to Hala after she tells him that she doesn't love him. Safwat proposes a youth housing project that Abo El-Ela agrees to. Magdy warns Abo El-Ela about Safwat, Osman and Mahran. Laila leaves Abo El-Ela's house after she overhears him talking to Naemat.

When Laila refuses to return with Abo El-Ela, he rebukes Naemat for causing her to leave. A guilty Naemat apologizes to Laila and convinces her to return with her. Abo El-Ela discovers that Morad is giving case papers to people for money. Mahran proposes to Hala

Abo El-Ela plots with Asfour and Osman to expose Morad's plans. When the cops arrest Abo El-Ela and Morad for bribery, Osman saves Morad. Nargis tells Abo El-Ela that Morad's sister isn't actually his sister but his wife. Abo El-Ela marries Naemat.

Hala marries Mahran after a fiery fight with her mother. Magdy suggests that Abo El-Ela hire a legal advisor to protect him from Osman and Mahran. The advisor tells Abo El-Ela to either dissolve his partnership with Mahran or change the conditions of the contract.

When Magdy suspects that his fiancée Nagwa was involved with Adel after her divorce, Adel tells him that he was in love with her but she rejected him. Abo El-Ela agrees with Mahran to build a school as part of their project as the latter plots how to convince Abo El-Ela to agree to a bank loan.

Mahran, Osman and Safwat try to set Magdy up but Abo El-Ela foils their plans. Mahran asks Abo El-Ela to convince Hala to take him back. Magdy fights with Nagwa when he discovers that she hid her previous engagement to Kamal. Hanaa breaks off her engagement to Mortada.

When Mahran escapes with the loan's money, the cops arrest Abo El-Ela, Safwat and Osman who tell them that Abo El-Ela is the one in charge of the project. He is later released on bail after Safwat confesses that he had nothing to do with the scam.

Magdy breaks off his engagement to Nagwa who leaves for Paris with her father. When he tries to reconcile with her, she refuses and he starts to deteriorate, taking a job at a restaurant and marrying a dancer. Hala, who took a job in Paris, tells Abo El-Ela and he goes to Paris to help Magdy.
