After he manages to arrest drug dealer Maghawry and his men, colonel Adham returns home to his family that consists of the wife, Dr. Najwa, and his two kids, Salma and Ahmed. Adham is assigned Khalil Shokry's case as he starts watching Khalil's wife and son.

Adham investigates Khalil's wife and eventually finds her husband. Najwa gets mad at Adham for being so obsessed about his job that he missed the party they were invited to. Najwa recalls her passion for medicine and heart surgeries namely.

Journalist Emad wants to interview Adham, and a dormant fear lies beneath the editor's rejection of the idea. Najwa feels that her job is keeping her away from her family. Ramzy finds a pistol at Rita's bag. Nader tries to reconcile his mother and his uncle Adham.

The initial investigations reveal that Rita intended to travel to Paris before her murder and that she had many relationships. Adham learns that Rita was with Ramzy, the son of the well-known politician Hesham Al-Basiony. Mosa'ad threatens Sa'adiya.

Adham searches for the murder weapon that has gone missing. Ramzy is released and his father vows revenge on Adham. Adham suspects that Awad is the murderer. Nader tells his wife the reason for his mother's dispute with her brother Adham.

Adham's sister is arrested for selling stolen clothes at her store. Adham devises a plot to claim that Rita had AIDS to urge everyone who slept with her to show up at the hospital.

Adham poses as Mesilhy as he goes on a mission to find Awad; he works at a bazaar near the pyramids and he learns that Awad traded with Mar'ie, the bazaar owner, in antiquities. Najwa performs heart surgery for minister Mortada.

Awad goes to the hospital for an HIV test and he is arrested but denies killing Rita, which makes the case harder to solve. Adham travels to Luxor to attend Maghawry's daughter's wedding.

Adham meets Hajaj in Luxor and he eventually learns that it was Mar'ie who killed Rita after a dispute. As Adham defends an elderly lady against a thief, the thief accuses Adham of beating him.

Najwa miraculously saves the life of a woman with heart disease. Adham gets a reward for catching Rita's murderer. Maher visits Adham. Actress Marwa files a complaint against Mosa'ad, her maid's husband, for assaulting her.

When Kamal gets mad at Dalila after saying she is pregnant, she tells him it is just a practical joke. Salma wants to go to Medhat's party. Adham tries to find evidence for Kamal's corruption, and he saves Elham.

Dalila thinks of a way to secure her life. Hesham Al-Basiony decides to publish Adham's photos with Elham to ruin his life. When Najwa sees the pictures in newspapers, she leaves the house.

Hesham Al-Basiony bribes Mandour to have him slander Adham. Nader proposes to his cousin. Adham is shocked to learn about Elham's suicide attempt, and it turns out that Elham approached Najwa to tell her that Adham is innocent. Kamal and his family visit Adham and Najwa's family.

Adham testifies against Ramzy and provides evidence of his cheating at school. Najwa asks Adham to quit his job. Adham clashes with Mosa'ad when the latter confesses to murdering his own wife.

Sa'adiya appears and she is in a critical condition due to the severe torture she received at Mosa'ad's hands. Mosa'ad files a complaint accusing Adham of torturing him, and Adham is dismissed from his job. So'aad, Medhat's mother, urges her son to break off his engagement.

Adham turns down a job offer at Kamal Al-Ashry's factories. Kamal Al-Ashry, meanwhile, travels abroad with Medhat to strike an important deal.

Salma learns that Medhat's sister, Zizi, does heroin. Salma asks Adham about the photo he keeps, and he says it's of a woman he used to know. Zaheya incites Abbas to take revenge on Adham.

Najwa and Soa'ad become partners in an underground water project. Emad wants to write Adham's memoirs. Hussein pleads to Adham to advocate for him because he is wrongfully imprisoned and he didn't kill Gharib.

Mosa'ad blackmails Hesham for more money. Adham accepts to work as a security manager at Kamal Al-Ashry's factory. Maghawry brings Adham Hussein's records and it turns out that he used to work at Kamal Al-Ashry's factory. Adham tries to postpone his daughter's wedding to Kamal's son.

The wedding is postponed, and Kamal realizes Adham's real motives behind this. Adham and Najwa travel for their wedding anniversary and Adham is arrested for drug possession.

Adham is sent to jail, and Kamal denies having anything to do with the incident. Mandour seizes the chance to defame Adham. At prison, Hussein tries to console Adham who also meets the imprisoned officer Salah.

Fakhry and Salem visit Adham at prison and assure him that new evidence against Kamal has been found. Abbas rejoices at the news of Adham's imprisonment, and Kamal is arrested for trading in expired food.

Salma breaks off her engagement with Medhat. Kamal is acquitted. Hussein receives a blow intended to harm Adham and he instantly dies. Taymour harasses Mona, and she reports him to the police.

Adham encourages Salma to marry Medhat. Shokry proposes to Mona, and her mother demands he finds a job first. Medhat threatens to unravel the truth about Kamal's second marriage if he refuses to wed Salma to him. Adham attends his daughter's wedding ceremony.

Adham escapes, and Najwa blames Salma for helping him. Adham disguises himself as a poor fisherman and hides at Mr. Ayoub's place.

Mosa'ad threatens Hesham for more money. It turns out that Zizi is married a customary marriage, and she is worried she might be pregnant while her husband is imprisoned. Shokry doesn't have the money to travel to Italy. Kamal threatens Dalila to urge her to abort.

Adham asks Elham to help him, and when he is discovered, he travels to Ras El-Bar and crosses paths with Hasna.

Kamal hires women to cause Dalila to have a miscarriage. Adham is sentenced in absentia to three years in prison. Abbas burns down Hasna's store.

Salma asks Mr. Ayoub about her father. Taymour and Sergany get ready to smuggle a group of young people to Greece. Dalila gets out of the hospital and vows revenge on Kamal. Adham is attacked.

Shokry travels and leaves Mona behind. Adham reports Sennara to the police. Adham tells Farghaly that Mona is his own daughter.

Shokry drowns while leaving for Greece. Adham and Taymour clash when Taymour claims that Shokry isn't dead. Najwa is dismissed from her job. Adham is arrested for drug possession.

Officer Salem passes away, and Adham, disguised, goes to offer his condolences. Mosa'ad is arrested, much to Hesham's relief. Shokry returns from his travels and proposes to Mona.

Soa'ad confronts Kamal with his relationship with Dalila and what he did to her. Hasna refuses to marry Sa'ad. Mosa'ad admits that he framed Adham for torture and Adham is acquitted.

Adham comes clean to Hasna about his true identity and apologizes for leaving her in the past. Zizi has an overdose and dies. Najwa appears before the court. Adham is acquitted and he tells Mona he is her father.
