Amer gets angry with his wife, Jawaher, who reminds him of his Cypriot former wife, Lina, after which Amer asks Hussein to store the salt early so that he can sell it. Hakem evades the business tasks assigned to him by Amer.
El Habayba village suffers from poor services, and three governorates refuse to recognize it. Amer refuses that Jaafar El Raadi forcibly dispossesses the Bedouins of the land, while Lamei plans to seize El Habayba's lands.
Sophie informs Amer of Lina's return to Cyprus and her marriage to Jawdat Zada. Desouki gets angry at Shawqi as he asked about his daughter, Samaher, who left the village and ran away. Shawqi resorts to a seer, thinking that he is afflicted with a marriage-preventing curse.
Amer gets angry at Jawaher after she goes to the seer to make him love her. Nariman gets angry as Marei appoints his nephew to run the companies. Lamei tries to buy all the fish and salt in the village.
As Amer gets angry about Samaher's visit to his house and to her sister, Jawaher, he kicks her out because she left the village and became a dancer. Shawqi asks the seer to help him marry Samaher. Lamei teams up with Sami to take control of El Habayba village.
Samaher confesses to Amer that she left the village because of her love for him. Yassin asks Artin to help him find his daughter, Lina. Lamei tells Nariman that the test results prove her inability to have children.
The salt is stolen from the saltworks by the Damned Ones. Amer is shocked after discovering that Jaafar has kidnapped Jumara, whom Amer frees and leaves the salt. Artin works in the workshop with Shawqi. Jaafar and the Damned Ones change their hiding place in the mountain.
Amer tries to build a medical clinic to treat the villagers after expelling the seer who caused the death of the child Fouad. Nariman gets angry with Lamei for refusing to show her the company's accounts. Hakem asks Samaher that they have a customary marriage.
Wajeeh, Lamei's delegate, asks to buy all the salt from Desouki, who agrees in order to pay off the debts of the saltworks. Amer rejects Lamei's attempts to seize the saltworks. Sabri tries to molest his student Mona, Hussein's daughter.
Saloma is surprised by Lamei's purchase of the land, so he confronts his men, refusing the transfer of ownership of the land. Amer enlists his former classmates' help to confront Lamei and his men in the village.
Desouki rejects Hakem's request to marry Samaher. Jawaher confesses that she went to Samaher and discovers that her jewelry has been stolen after her return, whereupon she accuses Hakem. Shawqi feels sad as he loves Samaher but is unable to marry her.
Amer and his men stop Lamei's attempts to storm the saltworks. Amer tells Nariman that Lamei married two women before her and robbed them. Shawqi proposes to Samaher, even though he knows that she loves Amer.
Amer prevents Desouki from harming Samaher and asks him to forgive her. Nariman visits Lamei's first wife in the mental hospital. Lamei and Wafaa enter into a customary marriage.
Lamei clashes with Amer because of the saltworks. Amer tries to set conditions that prevent anyone from giving up their share in the saltworks to Lamei. Artin pursues Silvana and covets a relationship with her. Amer rebukes Shawqi for revealing the secret to Samaher.
After Nariman tells Lamei that she is pregnant, he goes crazy as he is unable to have children, so he suspects that she is having an affair with Amer. Wajeeh buys all the salt from the saltworks. Sami asks Lamei to commence the plan to seize the saltworks.
The workers leave after they find blood in the saltworks, which Lamei asks Amer to give up. Amer discovers that Hakem, Lamei, and the seer are behind the blood found in the saltworks as they wanted to delude everyone into believing that there are demons and jinn there.
Nariman confronts Lamei with his sins, while Lamei sends his men to assault Amer. Mona and Magdy graduate and decide to enroll in medical school. As Amer asks Hakem to mend fences with the villagers, Hakem agrees on the condition that he marry Samaher.
Sami El Deeb's treachery and plans to take over the village with Lamei cause Amer to be worried. Samaher refuses to marry Hakem. As Jaafar meets with Sami and Lamei, they ask him to protect them from Amer.
Amer stands helpless in the face of Lamei and the Damned Ones after they join forces. Wafaa asks Lamei to buy the saltworks from the Damned Ones with a preliminary contract. Lamei prepares to receive a shipment of radioactive waste and bury it in the village.
The people of the village are asked to guard the saltworks. Artin keeps proposing to Silvana. Sheikh Saloma sends his men to guard the saltworks.
Amer tries to find out the reason for the deterioration in Desouki's health and his sudden death. Samaher informs Hakem of the reason behind her refusal to marry Shawqi and her insistence on marrying him. Jaafar refuses to return the money to Lamei.
Silvana plans to open a juice bar in the village. Nariman asks Lamei that they adopt a child, but he refuses. As the seer plans to set fire to the fishermen's boat and blame it on the saltworks' workers, Amer exposes her plot.
Jaafar gets angry as the plan to drive a wedge between the villagers fails. Samaher tries to come between Jawaher and Amer to make him divorce her.
Yassin grieves and Silvana collapses due to the sudden death of Artin. Amer discovers that Samaher had intimate photos taken of Jalal and herself while she was wearing Jawaher's clothes to drive a wedge between him and his wife, whereupon Jawaher confronts Samaher with what she did.
Lamei tries to convince Sami to partner up with Amer in the saltworks in order to implicate him in the burying of the waste shipment in the village. Samaher tries to get the workshop closed down in retaliation against Jawaher.
Amer and Yassin start thinking about the construction of a fence around the new club's land. Lamei gets angry when Sami tells Nariman about the nuclear waste. Samaher rejects Amer's request to leave the village.
Lamei starts digging the land in the village, while Nariman refuses to sign the project's checks. Nariman decides to dissolve the partnership with Lamei, who asks Jaafar to help him set up the project.
After Hakem kills Samaher, evidence in the form of a recording appears in which he confesses that he intends to kill Jawaher. The partnership between Lamei and Nariman ends, upon which Nariman confesses that Sami and Lamei want to bury radioactive waste in the village.
Nariman asks Amer to keep the matter regarding the waste under wraps until the shipment arrives and then inform the authorities on Sami and Lamei. Sheikh Saloma gets angry about Lamei's digging of the land which damaged the crops. Amer tries to gather information about the deal.
Jawaher claims to Amer that she is Samaher and that Hakem killed his wife, Jawaher, not her. Nariman gets angry about the continuation of digging in the village. Jaafar and his men attack the village and destroy its houses. Lamei is arrested after Amer informs the authorities about the deal.
