Shafiq wastes his salary on bets after taking a bribe at his work, while his wife Narges complains of a lack of money. Gears are made for a fighter pilot in the factory where Abu Al-Ma'aty works. In Israel, Me'ir receives a file on the missile engine in Egypt.
Shafiq and Narges are transferred to El-Arish, without their children, after he gets caught taking a bribe. Allington meets Me'ir with files related to the Egyptian Air Force. The Egyptian Intelligence reports that Israeli soldiers have increased at the border.
As the Six-Day War takes place, soldiers, including Ali, take refuge in Shafiq's house and flee with the arrival of the Israeli forces. But when they find traces of blood in his house, they capture the soldiers and kill them while Ali hides in the house of Ayoub, Shafiq's neighbor.
When Narges discovers that Officer Ali is hiding in Ayoub’s house, she informs Shafiq, but she discovers that he confessed to the Israeli Major Abu Musa about Ali’s whereabouts because he feared for his safety. Ali manages to escape before the arrival of the soldiers. Ayoub and his wife are arrested.
While Ali is treated in a hospital in Ismailia, he tells the Egyptian Intelligence about what happened to him at Ayoub's house, and how Shafiq refused to help him. Abu Musa decides to recruit Shafiq to work for the Mossad.
Abu Musa visits Shafiq's house and invites him and Narges to a dinner party; he asks them to help him solve a problem for one of his relatives in London in exchange for huge sums, and they accept.
An order is issued from the Egyptian forces to monitor Shafiq and his wife. Abu Musa reveals to them that they will be recruited by the Mossad, which freaks them out. When it is decided that Shafiq and Narges will travel to Cairo, they find themselves taken to Israel.
After Shafiq and Narges pass the lie detector test, Abu Musa gives them two fake IDs with the names of Musa and Dina, and a sum of money. Ali is transferred to work in the intelligence service, and Shafiq begins his Mossad training.
Abu Musa makes a recording of Shafiq and Narges to expose them to the Egyptian Intelligence Service in case they double-cross him. Shafiq and Narges return to their home in Cairo and decide to send a letter in secret ink to Musa.
Ali runs into Shafiq and Narges in a restaurant and he suspects them, but then he's tasked to travel to Greece. When Shafiq receives secret information about the Egyptian soldiers, he sends a secret message to Abu Musa about what he discovered.
Shafiq continues to send information about the new tanks that came from Russia, after which a raid by the Egyptian forces takes place. It's decided that the Bar Lev Line will be built to protect the borders.
Shafiq and Narges are ordered to travel to Greece, where they receive Israeli passports in order to travel to Israel. As the airport operator doubts their identities, he searches for their names in the convoys that arrived in Israel from Athens.
After Shafiq and Narges arrive in Israel, Abu Musa blackmails Narges with false photos to ensure her obedience. Abu Musa receives a radio with a hidden transmitter, and their travel to Athens is postponed.
After Shafiq and Narges return to Egypt, Shafiq agrees on the marriage of Officer Mahmoud to Zeinab. When they send a message to Abu Musa, they discover that Adel is listening in on them.
Adel is recruited alongside his parents and begins to provide them with information. Ali reaches Khalil, whom the Mossad is trying to recruit, and he agrees to work as a double agent for Egypt. The intelligence service tries to monitor the location of the signals that are sent to Israel.
The sensitivity of Mahmoud’s rank becomes clear. After Adel sends Abu Musa the location of the warplanes, the Israeli forces strike them. Mahmoud is surprised by Shafiq’s concern about a message he received from Athens. Ali tracks down Shafiq and Narges.
Adel quarrels with his mother over his desire to work alone for the Mossad. Shafiq and Narges's relations expand after opening a hardware store, and Shafiq sends data to Abu Musa about missiles at Egyptian bases.
After Shafiq tells them of the location of the army bases, Israel strikes them, and their cousin Mustafa dies. Zeinab discovers that her parents are working for the Mossad. Mahmoud has doubts about Shafiq, while Ali discovers that the location of the transmitted codes comes from Shafiq's house.
Mahmoud's suspicions about Zeinab's family are confirmed by Ali after placing them under constant surveillance. As Abu Musa orders Shafiq and Narges to travel to Italy, they are being watched, and listening devices are planted in their home by the Egyptian Intelligence.
Shafiq and Narges are promoted; they get military ranks and are honored by the Mossad. They are given new equipment and return to Cairo, while Sadat takes over the rule of Egypt after the death of Gamal Abdel Nasser.
Shafiq and Narges obey Abu Musa's order to expand their circle of acquaintances by holding parties. The gap between Zeinab and her family increases, and she and Mahmoud get married while her parents are still being monitored by the Egyptian Intelligence.
As Shafiq and Narges swallow a fake bait by the General Staff of War; Shafiq tells Abu Musa the information he got. Shafiq quarrels with Narges when she gets friendly with a visitor at their party.
Narges travels to Rome and Israel with recorded films. The Egyptian army begins to raid Sinai, and Shafiq is surprised by the failure of his communication device.
Abu Musa decides to send an advanced transmitter with Narges while she returns to Egypt. But she is surprised when the Intelligence Service arrests her, along with Shafiq and Adel. The Intelligence Service obtains the device.
