Lotfy Al-Damanhoury is a ruthless businessman who only cares about himself. When Sonbol works in his villa, he causes a big mess. When Nea'ma fires Sonbol, he begs her to let him work in her house. Sonbol tries to obtain his rights from the land that his uncle sold to Lotfy. Sonbol quarrels with Lotfy.
While the family is away, they leave Sonbol in charge of the villa. When Sonbol claims his money from Lotfy, he tells him he already gave it to his uncle Saleh. Sonbol receives the family as they return.
Sonbol discovers that Lotfy has deceived him. Sonbol and Dalal fall in love. When Sonbol goes with Nesma to the club, he discovers a new world he never saw before. Nea'ma wants to work; Nesma falls for a poor guy.
Sonbol and Nesma's relationship grow stronger, in spite of her being the daughter of his enemy. Sonbol steals books from Lotfy's library to study. As Sonbol passes his exams, Sherif flunks, which makes him clash with Sonbol. Lotfy refuses to finance the nursing home that Nea'ma started.
Sonbol tries to help Mahmoud with his financial difficulty. Mahmoud's attempt to teach Sonbol how to drive fails terribly. Nesma finds out that Essam wants to travel to have enough money to marry her. Raouf requests his money from Lotfy; Lofty goes to see his mistress Nahla.
Sonbol gives Nahla the necklace that Lofty bought for her. He convinces her that it's their wedding gift. When Raouf proposes to marry Nesma, she tries to tell Essam. Sherif suffers from a health problem.
Sonbol tries to keep the family from going to Raouf. Lofty finds out that Sherif suffers from kidney failure, and starts looking for a donor. Nea'ma suspects that Lofty is having an affair, but he denies it. Sonbol decides to donate his kidney to Sherif instead of Nesma.
Sonbol refuses to take money from Lofty for the kidney donation to Sherif. Dalal tries to stop Sonbol from doing the operation. Sonbol tells Nea'ma that Lotfy is married to another woman called Nahla.
After Nea'ma confronts Lofty with his betrayal, she asks for a divorce. Dalal's mother tries to reconcile between Lotfy and Nea'ma. Sonbol refuses to back down from the operation, in spite of being scared.
The operation is a success and Sherif's life is saved. Sonbol finds out that Lotfy claimed that he took money for doing the operation, and that he didn't do it for free. Lotfy tells Raouf that Nesma refused his marriage proposal. Sonbol wins first place in his school exams.
Sonbol asks Lofty to give him the money he claimed to have given him. Lotfy gives Raouf his money and ends the projects between them; he discovers that Raouf will open a plastic factory to compete with him. Sonbol is hosted on a TV show for his success in the exams.
Sonbol takes Lotfy to an abandoned place and tells him that he knows that he stole his uncle, and that he will take him to court if he doesn't return him his rights. Lotfy finds out that Nahla has been deceiving him by giving everything to Soliman, and he divorces her.
Soliman gets the factory back thanks to Nahla. Nesma is shocked when Essam tells her that their love can never survive because of his poverty. Sonbol is heartbroken when he finds out that Nesma doesn't return his feelings. Lotfy refuses to give money to Sherif.
Lotfy asks Nea'ma to forgive him. Nesma decides to challenge Lotfy after he refuses her marriage to Essam. Raouf tells Nahla that he doesn't intend to get married. After Sherif steals money from Lotfy, Lotfy accuses Sonbol of the theft.
Lotfy throws Sonbol out after forcing him to sign a blank check. Dalal tries to convince Lotfy that Sonbol is not the real thief, and she leaves the house. Sonbol meets a man named Farag who introduces him to the Master. Sonbol starts working as a street seller, but he gets robbed.
The Master fires Farag because Sonbol lost his money. Sonbol convinces Farag to start a small project together, and they start earning money. Sonbol buys an old car with all his money, and finds out that it's worthless.
Sonbol starts working in repairing wrecked cars and selling them. Nesma and Essam get married but they live in extreme poverty. Essam takes a new job at Raouf's company. Farag's store is robbed, and Sonbol goes to retrieve the stolen items from Master, Abu Tamer.
When Saleh's daughter, Subha, goes to Lofty to claim her rights, he tells her that he gave the money to Sonbol. Sonbol and Dalal meet after long absence, and they confess their love for each other. Mahmoud returns from travel, and he gives Sonbol his money back. Nesma finds out that Essam works for Raouf.
Sherif promises Nesma to leave his reckless life behind and pay attention to his future. Lotfy is facing a crisis for signing checks without balance; he sets Nahla up and she gets arrested. Dalal's mother wants to help out Sonbol, as everyone thinks he's poor, while he's quite the opposite.
Sonbol asks Sherif to confess the truth and clear his name. Sherif tells Lofty the truth; he steals money from him and while he escapes, he dies in a car accident. Sonbol invents a new project to clean the streets from animal waste. When he goes to Raouf to buy plastic, Raouf finds out about his project.
Lotfy tries to turn his financial situation around by partnering up with other businessmen, but they're scared of his troubled history. Dalal and Sonbol get married, and he tells her that she has to endure with him through his rough journey. A big earthquake strikes Dalal's mother house.
Sonbol and his family stay at Farag's place. Sonbol continues his journey to be rich by working in brokerage in order to reach one million pounds. Sonbol hides his money in the sofa. Lotfy takes a small apartment after losing his money. Sonbol discovers that he got conned by Sorour.
Sabha is looking for Sanbol to take revenge on him after believing Lofty's lies. Lotfy sells his farm to Raouf. Sorour strikes a deal with Sonbol to compensate him. Dalal finds out that Sonbol has a lot of money. Essam and Nesma's relationship is strained, when he objects that she works.
Lotfy tries to get the villa from Nea'ma, but she refuses. Farag asks Dalal to give Sonbol 1000 pounds. Subha asks Sonbol to give her her rights, but he tells her that Lotfy stole her father's money. When Sonbol discovers that Dalal is pregnant, he asks her to have an abortion.
Dalal runs away from home, and days pass by and she gives birth to a stillborn baby. Mahmoud tells Dalal to go back to Sonbol, and she finds out that he's now a millionaire. As Sonbol looks to invest his money in financing a new project; he feels lonely after his split-up with Dalal.
Sonbol tells Lotfy that he has checks on him, and he gets a court order to seize Lotfy's villa. As Subha heads to Sonbol to kill him, she finds out that he put her money in the bank and made his fortune with honor.
