Tarek, Nora, Sarah, Hisham, and Majed are students at the American University working on a graduation project, which is a research paper about street children. Meanwhile, a girl named Zeinab is homeless, with her mother in the hospital and her father remarried.

Zeinab is harassed by the thug Labisa and seeks refuge with her sister but faces further harassment there. Meanwhile, Tarek asks his uncle, General Sabry, to let Zeinab and Touta stay at the police station for their safety.

Tarek and his friends take the children to the farm, while Zeinab visits her mother in the hospital. Later, the kids return to the streets and spend everything they have to buy an insulin injection for Zaza. Meanwhile, Zeinab and Touta search through garbage to ease their hunger.

Kimo dies in an accident, prompting Zeinab and Touta to go to Tarek’s house. Abdullah gives Zeinab a sum of money to make her leave. Later, Zeinab and Touta are moved to a room in a private hospital. Meanwhile, Sayed convinces Shadia to become a surrogate.

Sanaa visits Mahmoud, the psychiatrist who has feelings for her, while Tarek visits Zeinab and Touta at the hospital. Meanwhile, Zaza and Ringo begin dealing drugs, and Labisa is involved in trafficking women in hotels.

Sabine, Tarek’s friend from Paris, calls to tell him that she had a son from their past relationship. Meanwhile, Abdullah refuses to promote Rola’s new album, then makes plans with Sanaa to travel and rekindle their relationship.

Rawiya brings her mother home from the hospital to live with her at Reda’s. Abdullah and Sanaa cancel their trip. Zeinab and Touta are sent to juvenile detention, so Tarek asks his uncle for help. Meanwhile, mothers get custody of children from social services to raise them with their own.

Eid, the supply officer at the juvenile center flirts with Zeinab, while Sarah leaves her family home to live alone and welcomes Hisham into her house. Meanwhile, Sabah frequently runs away from the center until her family arranges her engagement to a man for money, but she escapes.

Touta falls ill, and there’s no doctor available at the juvenile center. Meanwhile, Ringo starts a relationship with the dancer Balbala. Sayed harasses Zaza, and Eid proposes to Zeinab.

Tarek decides to travel to Paris to resolve issues concerning his son, while Shadia becomes pregnant by Labisa. Sayed hits the dancer Balbala. Meanwhile, Zeinab is humiliated by a juvenile officer and refuses Eid’s marriage proposal.

Seham, Eid’s sister, threatens Zeinab for refusing to marry her brother. Meanwhile, Sarah discovers that Majed loves her and that everyone knows about her relationship with Hisham. Seham causes an injury and blames Zeinab, while Officer Moataz insists on hurting and harassing Zeinab.

Tarek visits Zeinab, but she refuses to meet him. Meanwhile, Moataz regrets what he did to her and realizes that Eid and his sister falsely accused her, so he apologizes. At the same time, Abdullah improves the newspaper, and Nora shows interest in her university professor.

Zaza and Ringo ask Balbala to escape from the control of Sayed. Meanwhile, Moataz requests a reinvestigation into Zeinab and Touta’s case and gets approval for their release. Sabah kills her husband and returns to the juvenile center, and Zeinab and Touta end up back on the streets.

Badriya, the shelter director, profits from donations and sponsorships for orphans. The shelter’s accountant falsifies documents, while the girls continue to be abused and forced to work outside. Meanwhile, Tarek files a lawsuit against Balbala.

Sarah grows close to Majed after Hisham leaves her. Meanwhile, Abdullah and Rola visit the literary salon and are surprised to find General Sabry there. At the same time, Nora and her professor share mutual admiration, and the owner of a private hospital asks Labisa to donate a kidney.

The cold weather sparks a confrontation between Zeinab and Touta and the shelter management. Meanwhile, Tarek releases Ringo, Zaza, and Ahmed, Zeinab’s brother, from the police station.

Hisham tells his friends he doesn’t love Sarah, while Amy, his former classmate, arrives. Touta attempts suicide, and Rateb harasses Zeinab and falsely accuses her of improper behavior.

Zeinab is brutally beaten, while Rawiya falls victim to Shawki. Meanwhile, Tarek and his friends visit Zeinab and Touta at the shelter, and Tarek warns Rateb and Badriya not to harm any girls there.

Abdullah and Rola visit the literary salon again, while Ringo, Zaza, and Ahmed escape and return to the streets. Meanwhile, Badriya and Rateb file a complaint against Tarek and his friends.

Abdullah searches for Rola, while she ignores him. Reda’s daughter visits him, where one of his friends harasses and assaults her in exchange for money to buy her mother’s medicine. Meanwhile, Sabine and Tarek’s son arrive in Cairo from France. Sanaa overhears a call between her husband and Rola.

Reda plans to marry a third time and hits Rawya, telling her to leave the house. Sanaa is upset at Mahmoud for traveling without telling her. At the same time, Tarek does a paternity test for the baby. Zeinab’s mother dies, and Abdullah gives gifts to Rola.

Ahlam helps Zeinab and Touta escape from the shelter, while Badriya plans to imprison Zeinab on drug charges. Reda brings his new wife home and kicks Rawya out.

Majed tells his friends about Tarek’s problem and asks for help. Sarah agrees to take in the child, while Nora ends her relationship with Tarek. Rola manipulates Abdullah, and he hits her. Rawya’s money is stolen, and at the same time, Zeinab and Touta live in Jamal’s office.

Zeinab works for the actress Ilham in Zamalek, but Ilham is unaware that Zeinab comes from a background of street children. Meanwhile, Touta is in a house with children to watch. Labisa is reported, and at the same time, Rawiya leaves the hotel and returns to the street.

Sanaa buys her apartment and tells Abdullah that she is breaking up with him. Meanwhile, Sarah's mother visits her daughter and sees Tarek's son. She learns the story and decides to talk to Tarek's mother. At the same time, Rawiya sells tissues on the streets and rents out a child for a sum of money.

Labisa sells one of his kidneys for money, while Abdullah apologizes to Rola, who tries to humiliate him. Zeinab attends her first literary evening and learns that General Sabry lives in the building. At the same time, Nora confesses to Tarek that she admires the doctor.

A fine arts student draws a portrait of Zeinab, while Sanaa asks Tarek to bring his son home so she can take care of him, telling the staff he is her grandson. At the same time, Majed meets Sarah and asks for her forgiveness.

Touta is beaten and burned by the lady of the house and is hospitalized. Meanwhile, General Sabry meets Zeinab and reassures her that he won’t tell Ilham about her. Ahmed, Zeinab’s brother, returns home, and Abdullah listens to Sanaa’s call with Mahmoud, where she tells him about her relationship with Rola.

Tarek and his colleagues visit Ilham, show her a picture of Zeinab, and tell her everything about her, so she does not forgive her. Labisa is discharged from the hospital.

Abdullah, the journalist, and his wife are kicked out of the office, while Ilham asks Zeinab to quit her job because she has lost trust in her. Rawiya kills her stepfather’s wife. Rola meets Abdullah and hires someone to film them, while a family adopts Touta.
