Tarek, Nora, Sarah, Hisham, and Majed are students at the American University working on a graduation project, which is a research paper about street children. Meanwhile, a girl named Zeinab is homeless, with her mother in the hospital and her father remarried.
Zeinab is harassed by the thug Labisa and seeks refuge with her sister but faces further harassment there. Meanwhile, Tarek asks his uncle, General Sabry, to let Zeinab and Touta stay at the police station for their safety.
Tarek and his friends take the children to the farm, while Zeinab visits her mother in the hospital. Later, the kids return to the streets and spend everything they have to buy an insulin injection for Zaza. Meanwhile, Zeinab and Touta search through garbage to ease their hunger.
Kimo dies in an accident, prompting Zeinab and Touta to go to Tarek’s house. Abdullah gives Zeinab a sum of money to make her leave. Later, Zeinab and Touta are moved to a room in a private hospital. Meanwhile, Sayed convinces Shadia to become a surrogate.

Seham, Eid’s sister, threatens Zeinab for refusing to marry her brother. Meanwhile, Sarah discovers that Majed loves her and that everyone knows about her relationship with Hisham. Seham causes an injury and blames Zeinab, while Officer Moataz insists on hurting and harassing Zeinab.
