Maria arrives with her band in an unnamed city where parliamentary elections are taking place. Their presence disrupt the focus of the local candidate for parliament, Daher, who is preparing a speech for the election party. Daher sends his assistant, Deeb, to expel them. He meets Maria, who refuses to cancel the show scheduled the next day.
