Umm Buthaina forces her daughter to look for work, and Fifi helps her work in a clothing store. Taha is presented to the police college committee, and his father's work as a building guard prevents him from achieving his dream. Azzam obtains Al Samman's approval to marry a young girl.
As secretary Hoda tries to trap Azzam in her net, Zaki is surprised by his sister Dawlat visiting him to stay in his house, and Taha is saddened by not being accepted into the police academy. Moreover, Taha refuses to let Buthaina work in Talal's shop because of his bad reputation.
Fawzi, Azzam's son, gets close to Hoda, Ishaq convinces his brother Mina to work as a tailor and rent a room at the top of the building. Zaki meets Christine in a nightclub and complains to her about Dawlat staying with him in the house.
Azzam admires the saleswoman in the perfume shop, Souad, and decides to marry her secretly. The residents of the rooftop object to Mina opening a tailoring shop in the room, and beat him up.
As Talal harasses Buthaina, Mina opens his shop despite the residents’ disapproval, and Emil proposes to Isis.
As Buthaina is forced to return to work at Talal's shop to support her siblings, Taha decides to join the Faculty of Politics and Economics. Zaki remembers when Azzam worked as a shoe shiner, and is forced to cooperate with him at work.
Azzam and Souad get married, Zaki has many love affairs with prostitutes, and decides to open fire on Azzam’s suspicious business deals. Hoda agrees to Fawzi’s approach on the condition that he marries her.
Azzam thinks about marrying Hoda to his son Fahmy, but Fawzi objects to the matter. Journalist Hamdi publishes an article about Azzam the shoe shiner, which angers Azzam and he decides to fight Zaki.
Emil proposes to Isis, and Hoda decides to resign when she learns of Azzam's intention to marry her to his son Fahmy. Rustum gets close to Dawlat, and Azzam seeks to meet Hamdi to prevent him from writing about him and bribes him.
Azzam hands Hamdi a report on his work, Rustum proposes to Dawlat, and Zaki is upset by Rehab’s sudden disappearance.

Hoda begins to weave her threads around Fahmy, and Hamdi suggests to Azzam to contact the party leader Kamal El-Fouly to nominate himself for parliament.
Adham offers Zaki to hold an art exhibition for his paintings, and Zaki tells him that Rehab is his artistic muse. Rehab asks Zaki to marry her, and Mina tries to convince Samira to sell one of her two baby daughters for a large sum of money.
As Taha joins an Islamic group, Rustum leaves Dawlat, and Hamdi convinces Azzam of the necessity of paying a large sum of money to Kamal to help him in the elections.
Fawzi confesses his love to Hoda, Umm Buthaina offers Samira a job as a maid, and Emil proposes to Madeleine.
As Isis discovers that Emil is in a relationship with more than one girl at the same time, Azzam prepares to run for the elections. Taha grows a beard and objects to Buthaina's clothes. Christine advises Zaki to take Dawlat to a psychiatrist.
Azzam threatens Souad with divorce if she tells anyone about their marriage. Shaker suggests that Taha marry a sister in the group. Azzam holds a conference to collect votes in his favor from the residents. Rehab steals Zaki's gold watch.
Fifi tries to convince Buthaina to marry Talal, Samira informs the police about Mina and confesses to selling her daughter to him, and Dawlat complains to Christine about Zaki spending all his money on night prostitutes.
As Dawlat takes over Zaki's apartment, Kamal promises Azzam to support him in the elections against his competitor Abu Sahen, and the wedding of Saeed and the unknown actress Fawzia is held.
Dawlat files a police report against her brother Zaki regarding his apartment, Mina suggests that Buthaina work as Zaki’s secretary, and Azzam wins the elections.
Azzam tells Souad how he became a businessman after being a shoe shiner. Buthaina takes over her job at Zaki's office, and Azzam tries to exploit the problems between Zaki and his sister to his advantage.
Fifi meets Dr. Rami and is impressed by him. Taha participates in Islamic demonstrations at the university, so the police arrest him. Azzam is enraged by Souad’s pregnancy and insists that she gets an abortion.
Fawzia asks Saeed to look for an apartment and leave the room on the roof. The police arrest Saeed for defrauding someone. Things get tense between Souad and Azzam, and the latter resorts to Al Samman to judge between them. Zaki gets close to Buthaina.
Fifi's relationship with Rami grows stronger, and some women beat Souad to cause her to miscarry, then Azzam divorces her. In the House of Representatives, quarrels occur between Azzam and one of the female members of parliament.
Hamed suggests to Azzam to establish a party for weak women so that no woman in parliament will attack him. Taha is released from prison, Zaki confesses his love to Buthaina, and Hoda agrees with Kamal against Azzam.
Azzam hires Hamed in the company, Taha shaves his beard and tells Shaker about the torture and human rights violations that happened to him in prison, and Azzam suggests to Dawlat to file a lawsuit to place Zaki under guardianship.
As Taha tries to find out the identity of the detention officer and Shaker refuses to help him, Rami confesses his love to Fifi. On the other hand, Mina agrees with Buthaina to seize Zaki's office in the building.
Taha asks the group's leader to take revenge on the officer who tortured him in prison, and Buthaina refuses to complete her agreement with Mina to deceive Zaki and get his signature on the contract to sell his office.
As Fifi tells her father that Rami wants to marry her, Buthaina reciprocates Zaki's feelings of love, and Taha meets a lady from the group to marry her. On the other hand, businessman Mahran threatens Azzam with death.
As Saeed is hospitalized after Mahran's men beat him, Rami and Fifi's wedding is held, and Mina takes revenge on Buthaina by telling Azzam that there is an illicit relationship between her and Zaki.
Dawlat loses the guardianship case against Zaki, and Azzam refuses Kamal’s partnership in his new project, so Hoda transfers all the files related to the project to Kamal to pressure Azzam.
Kamal threatens Azzam with framing him for drug trafficking if he does not fulfill his request. The police arrest Buthaina and Zaki and accuse them of practicing vice, so he decides to marry her. Taha takes revenge on the detention officer by killing him.
