When the police arrest Fotna and Al-Han for beating someone, Soka calls Tolba to come and save him. Soka rejects Toman's suggestions to open up stores and abandon street trading. She slaps Sayed when he proposes to divide the money. Maghny stipulates he must live with his daughters to forgive them.
Amna tells Sakina that Mos'ad hasn't returned Gaber's rights to him. Gaber refuses Soka's money because he has his eyes set on the store and the house. Erfan refuses to work with Sa'Sa', while Fou'ad Shalaby's men pillage Soka's stores. Soka plots to give Fou'ad a taste of his own medicine.
Soka is arrested, and Tolba uses his connections to get her out of prison. Soka reprimands Sayed, Loza, Shosho, and Fotna for going to Fou'ad's house to get her out of prison.
Badr tells Soka that his father wants 70,000 pounds to sell his share, but Soka can only pay 15,000. Gaber wants Amal to resign from her job at the university. Khalaf learns that Sayed took Gaber to Farouk Fou'ad so they would finalize the deal.
Fou'ad proposes to Soka. Meanwhile, Sayed accompanies Fotna and Wagida to Farouk so they would sell him their shares, but they refuse. Farag threatens Sayed to get him to stay away from Farouk Shalaby. Farag wants to have Sa'Sa' imprisoned.
Soka is enraged when Morsy is released from prison. Fou'ad tries to persuade Gaber to buy Soka's house. Morsy tells Amna he has no intention to claim his rights, and Amna asks Soka to give him the keys to his room. Shatara tells Toman that his store is on fire.
Toman refuses to accuse Fathy of burning his store, but he later affirms he did it. Erfan threatens Fathy. Fathy pays Shendy a hundred thousand pounds. Soka throws Morsy's stuff away and invites Zoba to stay at her place.
Soka's siblings suggest having Morsy back to work with them. Maghny advises Soka to dissolve her partnership with her siblings. Gaber gives his resignation to Wasfy to submit it to the college board.
Gaber offers to buy Soka's house for more money than she demands. Toman tells Soka he saw Gaber entering Fou'ad's company. Gaber tells Fou'ad that Soka wants half a million pounds for the house. Gaber informs Maghny of Mos'ad's will. Taher comes back.
Soka and her siblings lavishly celebrate Taher's return. Zoba shuts down her store, and Soka and Taher learn that her daughter is critically ill. Badr searches for Gaber, then he and Taher head to the police station. Soka reprimands Taher when he asks to run the business in her stead.
Taher, Farag, Toman, and Sayed strike a deal with Morsy to offer their protection against Fathy's ruffians. Soka learns about their scheme. Maghny tells Badr that Gaber's will mentions that Badr should marry an Alexandrian girl and never leave the city.
It turns out that Taher married Zoba in secret but divorced her when she got pregnant, otherwise he would've been sent to prison. Kanny dissolves his partnership with Abdo and strikes one with Fathy. Morsy plots against Fathy and the Sharaghish.
When Fathy's warehouses are burnt down, he believes it's either Fou'ad or Tolba who did it. Soka confronts her siblings about their plot to burn Fathy's warehouses. Badr tells Soka that the police will search her place. Meanwhile, Morsy hides antiquities and plots with Fathy to sell them.
Fathy tells Erfan that Morsy wants to sell the antiquities they found beneath the house of the Sharaghish. He also tells him he doesn't trust Morsy. Erfan tells Maghny he'll play along just to find the antiquities, and Maghny goes where Gaber is.
Shosho tells Soka about what happened between her and Alaa. When Shosho asks for the money to be divided, Soka slaps her. Badr tells Soka that she ought not to sell the house yet. Soka grows mad when everyone discusses her marriage decision. Soka asks Al-Lol to demolish Morsy's room.
Erfan stipulates that Fathy must pay Kanny's money back if he wants Farag to work with him. Erfan and Farag plot against Fathy. When the antiquities vanish, Morsy believes Soka stole them. Soka gives Badr and his family an apartment to live at, but Badr's mother wants more.
Erfan suspects that Badr knows that Gaber isn't kidnapped. He draws a scheme to learn the truth. Soka suspects that Badr and Maghny share a secret. Soka's siblings consider splitting the inheritance when she tells them how much the house will bring them. Badr wants to work with Soka.
Soka tells Amna that she gave herself to Morsy in the past. Farag accepts to be Fathy's partner. He proposes to Fawkia, Fou'ad's sister. Erfan confronts Soka about her feelings for Badr. Soka and her sisters agree to meet the lawyer to divide the money.
Soka confronts her sisters with their greed, and a disagreement escalates in the lawyer's presence. Faransa, Wagida, and the latter children head to the building Cleopatra. Gaber tells Maghny that he wrote Fou'ad a preliminary contract selling him half of the house. Amna passes away.
Gaber returns to his family. Taher tells Soka that he is married to a foreign woman and he's going to bring back his children and pay off his debts. Fathy is arrested with the antiquities. Soka is shocked when Badr proposes to Fawzia. Sayed and Merit get engaged.
