As Abu El-Hana goes with his wife Umm El-Khair to buy a valuable gift from the antique store for his cousin who lives in Australia, they're surprised by a broadcaster who asks him for an interview on air. Abu El-Hana goes to jail due to a clear violation while crossing the road.

As Umm El-Khair asks Abu El-Hana to buy a new refrigerator, he tells her that he has no money. His mother tells him about a competition to win electrical appliances. After Abu El-Hana enters the competition, he ends up winning a small water bottle.

When Abu El-Hana is late to work, Manaf starts asking the employees about him. But each time he does not find him at his desk, he thinks that Abu El-Hana is supported by an important senior official. But Manaf eventually discovers that it isn't true and decides to give him a strong warning.

When Abu El-Hana gets sick, the doctor tells him that his spine is not in place. As Abu El-Hana has multiple surgeries, the doctors steal one of his organs each time.

When Abu El-Hana's mother gets sick, he decides to take her abroad for an operation and install a heart device. But the airport employees discover that his mother has a device that can not pass through the airport, so they decide to confiscate her.

As Abu El-Hana, his wife, mother-in-law, friend Isma'il and his wife meet for a fun family trip, they are exposed to strange situations during their journey to their destination.

Umm El-Khair becomes angry with Abu El-Hanna after he refuses to buy her bananas because its price is too high. After officials ask the public not to buy bananas because of their high price, the price of bananas decreases eventually, and everyone buys them.

When Abu El-Hana's friend, Isma'il, tells him that he invited the manager to eat fava beans, the manager returns the favour and decides to put him in the purchasing committee and let him leave work early, so Abu El-Hana decides to do as his friend did.

When Manaf, the manager of Abu El-Hana, gets sick at work and suffers a stroke, Isma'il takes his co-workers, with the exception of Abu El-Hana, to visit him. Abu El-Hana decides to visit his manager in the hospital and takes his wife with him.

When Abu El-Hana decides to get closer to his neighbors in the building, he invites them over. But he is surprised that each one has a different opinion from the other and some have strict views. During the meeting, his neighbors clash with each other.

When a dancer moves in Abu El-Hana's building, all the residents are disturbed by the noise coming from her apartment during her rehearsals. As he decides to meet with the residents and complain about her in the station, he discovers that she's well-connected.

Abu El-Hana's mother asks her son to pay her phone bill after they cut off the line. When he goes to pay the phone bill, he discovers that the central employees are asking him for intolerable routine things.

When Isma'il tells his friend Abu El-Hana about the wedding for a close person to the manager Manaf, he asks him to bring his wife to the wedding so that they can eat whatever they want. But Abu El-Hanna discovers that the groom quarreled with the bride.

After Abu El-Hana gets paid after taking part in a savings group at work, he decides to buy a VCR. His friend Isma'il advises him to buy a receiver so that he can watch all the channels. He ends up staying up late which causes him problems as he is late every day to work.

When Abu El-Hana wakes up with a headache, his mother gives him medicine. Everyone in the house is surprised when Abu El-Hana can easily read their thoughts.

Manaf assigns Abu El-Hana and Isma'il to receive a Japanese man. But when Abu El-Hana sees a Japanese man on their way, he mistakenly thinks that he's the one. Then they find out that he's the wrong man, and the director rebukes them.

When Abu El-Hana's mother dreams that his father came to her in a dream accompanied by a sheep, she asks her son to bring her one. But when Abu El-Hana buys a sheep, it gets confiscated.

When Abu El-Hana sees wristwatches with his colleague Isma'il at work and he likes one, Isma'il gives him a wristwatch. As his wife sees him wearing the watch, she likes it, and he gives her one to wear.

When Abu El-Hana gets angry with a cat, he hits it. But a girl and a man film what happened and publish what he did in front of everyone, which lands Abu El-Hana in trouble.

As Abu El-Hana dreams that he has become the director of the department and all the employees are under his command, he lets his imagination run wild. He imagines himself living a luxurious life, until he wakes up to his simple reality.

When Umm El-Khair asks her husband Abu El-Hana to go on a recreational trip in one of the coastal cities, he asks his friend Isma'il to arrange a savings group and give him the money.

As Abu El-Hana is glad about his salary increase, he tells his wife about it. But his happiness is cut short when the prices of goods and necessities go up, and he freaks out.

As Abu El-Hana attends a conference for one of the People's Assembly candidates, the candidate asks the attendees to vote for him and tells them about the great things he will do for them.

When a new employee comes to the department in which Umm El-Khair works, she tells them that her husband does not let her lift a finger and brings her all that she needs, which drives Umm El-Khair to ask Abu El-Hana to do the same for her.

When the head of the building owners association calls the residents to an emergency meeting to discuss some important matters inside the building, Abu Ramy asks the residents to put a lock on the building’s door and an emergency phone.

As Abu El-Hana works in a television series as a silent extra, he causes the interruption of filming more than once because of his constant talks with the actors and director, which makes the director grow angry and strongly warn him.

As the department in which Abu El-Hana works is preparing to receive the Minister, Abu El-Hana makes sure that everything is in order for his reception, but then something happens that turns things upside down.

When Isma'il quarrels with his wife Zuhur, Abu El-Hana tries to mediate between the two in order to reconcile them. Abu El-Hana discovers that Isma'il has many problems and tries to help him overcome them.

As Abu Al-Hana and his wife get ready for Eid, he goes with her to shop for Eid supplies, only to be surprised that the prices are very high. Abu El-Hana decides to buy cakes and biscuits and go home with his wife to prepare them.

As everyone comes to Abu El-Hana's house to intercede for them and ask him for things they need, he suffers severe pain in his tooth, and the dentist removes it. When Abu El-Hana takes an important position, the residents of the neighborhood celebrate him.
