Tawfiq taunts Abu Ezzat for expelling his brother Shafiq from his home and reconciles them. As Abu Zaky causes trouble, Abu Darwish hits him, and Tawfiq intervenes to resolve the conflict. Saleh watches Wisal because of his admiration for her.

Abu Nader advises Abu Kamel to cooperate with Hosny to solve the problem of mortgaging their home to Abu Zaky. Hosny asks Wafiq to marry his widowed sister Umm Saleh (Saleh's mother) and assigns Umm Fawzy to help him. Abu Zaky worries Hosny with the news of the imminent release of Abu Aqeed.

Saleh confesses to his mother that he opposes her marriage. Saleh and Khalil beat Hosny for watching his balcony, but Hosny waives his right. Abu Zaky approaches Abu Aqeed and relays the news of the lane to him. Abu Khalil is surprised that Shafiq did not expel Abu Aqeed from the lane.

Saleh neglects Shafiq's shop. As Khalil chases Aida, her mother complains to his father. Abu Zaky asks Hosny to persuade Abu Kamel to sell his house in exchange for a commission. Umm Fawzy congratulates Hosny on Umm Saleh's acceptance of his offer.

Hosny rescues Abu Kamel’s relative and performs surgery on him, so the police arrest him for practicing medicine without a license, and Abu Ezzat helps him. Shafiq refuses to have Hosny and Umm Saleh's wedding without her son’s approval. Abu Ezzat beats his wife after a fight. Saleh travels to Aleppo.

Shafiq asks Hosny to prepare for his wedding. Saleh meets his uncle Abdel Jabbar in Aleppo. When the police summons Tawfiq, he explains to everyone that the reason is setting the date for Abu Aqeed's release.

Umm Saleh feels guilty for preparing for the wedding without her son. Saleh suffers from the hardship of his work with his uncle. Abu Ezzat returns to insult Shafiq for defending his wife. Abdel Jabbar beats Saleh and insults him.

Saleh returns during the wedding. Abu Aqeed's return to the lane causes panic among the people. Saleh refuses to live with Hosny and his mother. Abu Khalil discovers that Umm Fawzy has bought Hosny's house from Abu Zaky. When Abu Zaky's shop is robbed, the police arrest Abu Aqeed and Saleh.

As Tawfiq is looking for the real thief, the police are investigating Saleh and Abu Aqeed. As Abu Zaky denies Saleh’s words that Shafiq was in his shop, he plans with Hassoun to sell everything that the people of the lane mortgaged to him.

Abu Zaky surprises the people of the lane with summonings to court. Aida gives Wisal money to solve Shafiq's problem with his brother. Abu Zaky offers for Shafiq to work with him. Saleh and Abu Aqeed are released. Khalil plans to emigrate with the help of Abu Yassin.

Abu Zaky tells the people of the lane that the new owner of the property is the one behind the lawsuits. After Saleh and Khalil hand over the money and their passports to Abu Yassin, they pursue him. When Hosny disappears, false rumors spread that he was killed, but he appears again.

The mysterious man Abu Shakoush asks about Abu Ezzat. Abu Zaky drops the false report of theft. After Abu Yassin evades his agreement with Khalil and Saleh, he gives them information about his mysterious boss.

Abu Yassin proposes to Shafiq to buy his share of the inheritance. Saleh and Khalil visit Abu Yassin's boss and offer to work for him in exchange for immigration, and he informs them that the cost of immigration has increased. Abu Aqeed traces Abu Zaky's lies and exposes him to Tawfiq.

Saleh discovers that Khalil stole the key to his father's yield in order to travel. Abu Aqeed intervenes to stop a masked man who tries to rob Abu Zaky and is stabbed by him. Shafiq sells his share to his brother.

Saleh quarrels with Khalil because the latter is preparing his papers to travel first. Khalil and Saleh disappear from the lane the next day. The people of the lane are surprised that Abu Aqeed is following a righteous path.

Abu Khalil is shocked when his son escapes with the money that he will use to pay off his debt to Abu Zaky. Abu Aqeed works in the shop of Hajj Tawfiq after Saleh's disappearance. Saleh goes to work in a bakery.

Saleh meets Abu Yassin and tells him that Khalil traveled and left him. Abu Ezzat's family turns against him because of his injustice to his brother. Tawfiq sends Abu Nassal to search for Saleh and Khalil. Saleh returns to meet Abu Yassin incognito to help him to travel.

Tawfiq makes sure that Saleh is in the country. The owner of the bakery approaches Saleh to learn the reason for his hiding. Abu Aqeed hits everyone who finds him wearing a scarf like the one worn by the masked one. Saleh sends a message to his father.

Abu Zaky learns from Hassoun that he helped Khalil travel while asking about Saleh's condition. Saleh confronts Abu Aqeed in anger for working in Tawfiq's shop. When Tawfiq's shop is robbed, the police arrest Abu Aqeed. The owner of the bakery finds Saleh ill.

Abu Aqeed refuses to admit that to the police that Saleh came to his home on the day of the accident. When Saleh tells the owner of the bakery where his family is as he starts hallucinating, Tawfiq goes to his rescue. Abu Aqeed is released because Tawfiq refused to indict him.

After a quarrel between Tawfiq and Abu Aqeed, the latter's hand is wounded. As Saleh denies committing the crime, Abu Aqeed discovers that those who robbed Tawfiq's shop are his old friends, so he goes to threaten them.

Saleh returns to his home after his recovery. The thieves are arrested after Abu Aqeed reveals the truth to the people of the lane, who intervene to save Abu Ezzat after his client stabs him, but he is paralyzed. Abu Zaky faces the repulsion that the people of the lane hold for him.
