Hamada is accused of killing his father's wife Aida and stealing her money. Ibrahim, the only witness to Mahmoud’s innocene, has an accident that puts him in a critical condition, while Fekri interrogates the family about the crime.
A woman by the name of Titi, who claims to be Hamada's wife, appears. Ibrahim wakes up in the hospital, suffering from amnesia.
As Hamada is tried for killing Aida, the court appoints a psychiatrist to check that he’s mentally sound. Ibrahim is discharged from the hospital having no memories.
Hamada is sentenced to death. Ibrahim reads in the newspaper about Hamada's execution, whereupon he remembers their journey together before he lost his memory and that Hamada’s being accused of killing Aida, but the execution takes place before Fekri could stop it.
Adel asks Ibrahim to keep away from Hamada's case and not to testify in it. The Chief Prosecutor reopens the case, upon which Hamada is acquitted after his death.
As Fekri feels remorse for failing Hamada and not believing him, he begins to reestablish his relationship with the family, watching them closely and investigating to find the real killer.
Adel records a conversation between Mustafa and Walaa, which incriminates them in the killing of Aida, upon which they get arrested, while Mustafa confesses to Adel of his marriage to Walaa in secret. Nawal blames Ibrahim for causing the execution of her brother.
Fekri tries to find out the secret that Adel is hiding. Walaa and Mustafa are released as there is no strong evidence that they’ve committed the crime. Fekri arrests Adel and investigates the possibility that he killed Aida.
Fekri comes upon evidence proving that Adel embezzled a lot of money from Aida, yet he fails to prove his connection to Aida's murder, so he gets released. Mustafa tries to confess his marriage to Walaa to his family.
Adel begins to accuse the entire family of killing Aida, while Magdy reveals to Mustafa psychological evaluation reports of Sanaa that may be evidence that she killed Aida.
Mustafa rebukes Adel for trying to involve Sanaa in the investigations of the case because of her mental illness, while Sanaa learns that Fekri suspects that she committed the crime, so she decides to flee.
Mustafa rejects Karima's demands to kick Titi out of the house. Fekri arrests Nawal.
Adel continues to fabricate charges against Sanaa and Mustafa to acquit himself of killing Aida. Nawal gets released due to insufficient evidence against her.
As Titi asks for an apartment and a job, Mustafa tries to please her so she wouldn’t return to nightclubs. Fekri accuses Mustafa of neglect in raising his children.
Sanaa calls off her engagement to Magdy, while Ibrahim decides to stand up to the accusations of her killing Aida and prove her innocence. Adel is killed by an unknown person. Karima confesses to Fekri that she killed Aida because she was jealous of her and Adel because he knew her secret.
