Hashem lays the foundation stone for his new factory, while Master Lutfi tells Farouk that he saw Anaam, his ex-wife and mother of his son, Murad, with her husband, Hashem. Farouk files a lawsuit against Anaam to get custody of Murad.

Farouk succeeds in getting custody of Murad because he has reached the legal age. Anaam collapses as her son is being separated from her. As Murad finds harsh treatment from his stepmother, Gamalat, he gets to know Munir, the worker in his father's workshop.

Zeinhom meets Radwan El Sisi and asks him for a job. Radwan asks Emad to help him at work and treat everyone well. As the years pass, Murad enrolls at the university and gets to know his fellow student, Heba. Farouk's debts increase after his drug addiction.

As Murad rejects Hashem's help to pay off his father's debts, Hashem asks Radwan for help in a timber deal. Tharwat, Hashem's son, grows fond of Samia, Radwan's daughter.

Shamil proposes to Safaa. As Farouk tries to steal from Murad to buy drugs, Murad chides his father due to the loss of his fortune. Radwan invites Shafei to his daughter's wedding. Tharwat gets married.

Hashem stops dealing with Mossaad, and Anaam tries to mend relations for the sake of the company. Radwan tries to plant one of his men in the factory of Hashem, who is dying after his health deteriorates.

Ayman tells Neamat that he helps his father in his simple work on top of studying with her at the university. Neama threatens to break up with Ayman after a quarrel with his sister, Salwa. Heba is happy that Murad has returned to his studies. Tharwat decides to take over the affairs of the factory.

Radwan is subjected to a search at the airport because of his relationship with Zein (Zeinhom), who frequents drug dealers. Zeinhom threatens to expose Emad in front of Radwan because of his shady deals.

Murad tells Heba about his life, his father's debts, and his falling behind in his studies for this reason. Tharwat warns his mother of her excessive pampering of Tariq. Murad confesses his love to Heba. Radwan rejects Khaled's romantic involvement with Heba.

Murad is sad when he returns from Heba's birthday party due to the financial differences between them. Labib hatches a plot with the worker Gad against Tharwat.

Anaam remembers her last meeting with Murad and his expulsion of her. As Murad asks his father to sign over the workshop to him, Farouk refuses. Mustafa asks Menno about Neama's relationship with the worker Hamdi and about her inheritance in her father's workshop.

Neamat tells Ayman that Farouk will sign over his property to Murad. Shehta tries to assault Gamalat after the timber disappears from the warehouse rented for Zeinhom, upon which Emad goes crazy and Zeinhom is arrested.

As Menno tells Farouk the news of Zeinhom's arrest and his use of the warehouse to store the timber with drugs hidden in it, Farouk decides to seize the shipment. Hamdi hides some drugs with Neama, while Murad rushes to report the shipment to the police.

Neama hides with Mustafa a bag that contains the drugs that Hamdi stole. Radwan tells Samia that he is going through a financial crisis. Shamil deceives Safaa, coveting her family's wealth, and the two get engaged.

Radwan warns Tharwat about Shamil and his distrust of him. Khaled asks his father again that he betroth Heba. Neamat confronts Murad with his coveting her father's estate and threatens him. Anaam is angered by Tariq's behavior. Neama takes the bag from Mustafa and hides it in the house.

Tharwat refuses Shamil's request to marry Safaa, leading to a big argument between Safaa and her mother. Farouk asks Murad to return to his mother Anaam's house, while Anaam returns to running the factory.

Radwan asks Tharwat to go along with his mother while trying to convince her to leave the management of the factory to him again. Mossaad tells Heba that Murad is not right for her.

Anaam agrees to Shamil's marriage to Safaa. Farouk dies due to drugs. As Gamalat decides to expel Murad from his father's house, she accuses him of trying to assault her.

Anaam discovers Tharwat's tampering with the factory's accounts and the workers' laxity. Gamalat proves with official papers that she owns Farouk's property. Neamat accuses her mother, Gamalat, and Hamdi, of causing her father's death. Tharwat refuses to return the money he seized from the factory.

When Heba cuts ties with Murad, he follows her home, where he finds his mother interceding for Khaled and Radwan to get Heba to agree to marry Khaled. As Radwan's financial situation deteriorates, Tharwat is unable to help him. Anaam learns of Gamalat's seizure of Murad's inheritance.

Murad refuses to return with Anaam to the villa. Salwa gives Murad an inkling that she loves him. Samia asks Tharwat to partner up with her father, but he refuses, fearing his mother.

Menno gets a job at Tharwat's factory through Gad. Safaa objects to Murad's living in the villa, much to Anaam's chagrin, while Gamalat refuses to return the inheritance to Murad.

Madbouly informs Anaam that Murad agrees to return to the villa. Tharwat plans to force his mother to leave the management of the company to him. Murad leaves the neighborhood and goes to his mother's house. Salwa refuses to marry Menno and hopes for Murad's return.

As Tariq's taken to the hospital, Anaam tries to find out the bad friends behind what happened to him. Radwan fears the possibility of Murad's taking over the management of the factory. Menno continues to monitor what goes on in the factory. Heba looks for Murad but doesn't find him in the workshop.

Anaam tells Murad that Heba was unable to find him. Menno gives Salwa a sum of money to help her father. Khaled is surprised to find out that Murad is Tharwat's brother. Radwan decides to go through with Khaled and Heba's marriage.

Shamil marries Safaa and does not tell her about his secret marriage to his nurse or about her pregnancy. Murad expresses his distrust of Shamil. Tharwat objects to Murad's presence in the factory.

Shamil assaults his wife, Karima, for trying to sabotage his wedding night with Safaa. Radwan threatens to expose Shamil's secret marriage in front of Safaa. Menno tells Murad about what is happening in the factory. Murad returns to Al Manasrah and to working with Lutfi.

Shamil asks Safaa to demand that Tharwat give her her inheritance and to build a for-profit hospital. Mossaad agrees to Heba's engagement to Murad, whom Menno tells that he loves an educated girl who ignores him and loves someone else.

Anaam asks Murad to run the factory and not give in to Tharwat. Shamil tries to sell Safaa's share in the factory. Safaa discovers that Murad owns the factory.

Menno tells Murad that the shipment of timber coming from abroad contains drugs as planned by Radwan. Murad files a lawsuit against Gamalat, demanding his inheritance.

Anaam changes the finance department of the factory, while Murad tries to take control of the factory. Khaled threatens Shafei due to the breaking off of his engagement to Heba. Murad informs the police about the drug shipment that is arriving with Radwan's knowledge.

Heba tells her father that Radwan is smuggling drugs in the timber shipment. Emad decides to hide the drug shipment in the factory, while Murad decides to use workers from Al Manasrah to work in the factory.

Shamil steals Safaa's money, leaves her, and goes to Karima, who rages at him, stating that she lost her fetus because of him. Radwan manages to get the shipment in and insists on firing the new workers. As Hamdi confesses that Gamalat has committed fraud, she gets arrested.

As Radwan agrees to smuggle artifacts abroad, the police arrest him and Emad. Salwa agrees to marry Menno. Murad asks the owners of the workshops in Al Manasrah to help him. Karima robs Shamil and attempts to flee abroad. Murad returns to Heba.
