Samiha and Jalal will travel to the US for a scholarship and their daughter Hend is forced to stay at her grandfather's, the university professor, Dr. Noman, which causes a misunderstanding at her school.

Noman and Hend clash with each other because of the age difference. Noman fights with Hend after she goes to his neighbor Shadia without telling him. Noman is forced to take Hend with him to the university which causes him a problem with his colleagues.

Noman meets Shadia's family and visits his relative Badryia who offers to have Hend stay with her while Noman is at work. While Hend is playing outside, she sees a woman who's tied and goes to tell Noman.

Noman doesn't believe what Hend told him. Badryia asks Noman to find a suitable husband for her daughter Safaa. The school's principal asks Noman to take better care of Hend. Shadia tells Noman that she will help Hend with her studying. Hend tells a policeman about the accident she witnessed.

Noman scolds Hend for what she did. Noman tries to bring Emad, his student, and Safaa closer and she mistakenly thinks that Noman has feelings for her. Hend starts having nightmares of the criminal. A murder is discovered in the neighborhood.

The psychiatrist Samir advises Noman to listen to Hend. Hend gets sick and Shadia takes care of her while Noman is away. Hend tells Noman that she saw the criminal in the garden.

Hend realizes that it wasn't the criminal she saw, and Noman gets into a fight because of her mistake. Noman sends a letter to the police with the descriptions of the criminal from Hend without signing his name. Hend stays with Badryia and when she gets bored, she visits Noman with grandpa Abdeen.

Abdeen injures his foot and stays at Noman. Badryia suspects that Safaa is in love with someone and aks Noman to intervene. Noman finds a policeman who wants him to come to the station.

It turns out that Noman was called over Hend's fight with a boy. Emad finds out that Safaa doesn't have feelings for him. Noman starts to have feelings for Shadia.

Noman goes to the station to confess what Hend has witnessed. Lt. Samih interviews Hend and records her statement. Emad doesn't know who Safaa loves. Noman's friend, Samir, wants to marry Shadia, but she tells Noman that she doesn't want to get married again.

The police call Hend to identify the criminal, but she does not recognize him. The neighbor Makhlouf discovers that Hend was involved in the murder. Safaa is depressed after thinking that Noman wants to marry Shadia and she incites a misunderstanding between them.

Makhlouf publishes the details of Hend's testimony in the newspaper, which causes the police and Noman to worry. Shadia notices a strange man following Hend. Emad finds out that Safaa loves Noman.

Lt. Samih tells Noman that the man who's following Hend is for her protection. The killer calls Noman and threatens to kill them if Hend identifies him. Safaa is following Noman everywhere.

Abdeen passes away and the family gathers at his funeral. Noman finds out that Safaa loves him and he is thinking about getting married.

Makhlouf tells Noman that the police arrested the killer. Noman gets another threat that Hend will be dead if she confesses. Someone tries to run over Hend and Shadia with a car. Lt. Samih asks Hend to come to the station to identify the killer.

Hend testifies against the criminal and he confesses to the crime. Safaa agrees to marry Emad after Noman persuades her. Hend's parents come back and they fight because of their different views.

Noman reconciles Shadia with her ex-husband. Samiha and Jalal also reconcile and return home with Hend. Noman becomes depressed and he recalls his memories with Hend.
