Safaa's dreams of having a doctorate clash with her mother's desire to get her married. Karima confronts Masoud's attempts to get closer to her. As Safaa graduates from college, Sami promises to find her a job.

As Yusef agrees to hire Safaa and Manal in his engineering office, he assigns each of Safaa and Sami to design an engineering project in a competition; Safaa beats Sami.

Safaa and Karima are shocked after Sami's engagement to Mona. As Manal enrolls in the Faculty of Law, Karima tries to come up with her tuition fees. Sami confesses to Amina his regret of his engagement to Mona.

Hazem gets close to Safaa during her work on her master's thesis. Khairy becomes angry after Safaa rejects his marriage proposal.

As Sami marries Mona, she gets angry because of his frequent jealousy over Safaa. Safaa complains to her manager Yusef about Khairy. Samir tries to persuade Safaa to get her mother, Karima, to marry his father, Masoud.

As Hazem falls into shock after the death of his mother, he asks to marry Safaa to get out of his condition; she agrees. Sami is shocked after discovering that Hazem and Safaa got married.

As Mona asks for a divorce from Sami because of his love for Safaa, Amina intervenes and reconciles them. Samir confesses his love for Manal. As Mona becomes severely ill, Sami discovers her pregnancy.

Samir convinces Manal that Karima and Masoud need to get married. Helmy and Nadia suspect Rifaat's manipulation at work.

Safaa threatens to cut ties with her mother if she marries Masoud. Things deteriorate between Safaa and Hazem due to his neglect of her. Mona gives birth to Sami's child.

Masoud and Karima get married. Sanaa tries to drive a wedge between Hazem and Safaa. As Safaa's condition deteriorates due to her disagreements with Hazem, she quits her job.

As Safaa leaves Hazem, she gets her job back at Yusef's office. The police arrest Helmy after conspiring with Farid on their fraudulent actions at work. Hazem mends his relationship with Safaa.
