Mansoura insults the corrupt member of the Parliament, Saleh Al-Manzalawy, when he comes to the orphanage where she works. As she puts a poster of his rival Kamel Al-Manzalawy on his car, her boss Afarm punishes her for not getting his donations, which she steals for herself.
After Mansoura discovers that Afarm stole the donations, Afarm frames her for the theft. After Saleh's car hits Mansoura while she is fleeing, she cooperates with Kamel to search for her uncle in Cairo and files a lawsuit against Saleh.
As Mansoura lives on the roof of Al-Ataba Al-Hamra building, she gets to know the residents there. She finds out that Saleh forced Bahaa, Kamel's son, to divorce his daughter Hala. She discovers that the doorman of the building is her uncle, Aweys.
Aweys tells Mansoura that Saleh bought her father's land cheaply and that his wife stole the money and ran away. Saleh bargains with Mansoura to drop the lawsuit in exchange for covering the medical expenses of Aweys after he's taken to the hospital.
Omar hides in Mansoura's room to escape from Saleh. Mansoura works as a guard in Kamel's property, which upsets Saleh. Mansoura admires Saleh's son, Ahmed.
Mansour hires Shabara in the shop of his secret wife, Mimi, to keep him away from Mansoura. After Mansoura discovers Saleh's relationship with Mimi, she agrees with Subhy to watch her. Mansoura brings a dancer to live in the building for a sum of money.
Mansoura blackmails Saleh with his pictures with Mimi to return Hala to Bahaa. When Mimi discovers that Shabara is color-blind, she fires him, and Saleh hires him. When Saleh offers to pay for the cost of Aweys's operation in exchange for the photos, Mansoura refuses.
Hala and Bahaa’s wedding takes place, and Aweys dies. Saleh fails to kick Mansoura out of the building. Saleh assigns Shabara to deliver mysterious merchandise to Alexandria. When the dancer Soso moves to the building, all the men there rush to help her.
Saleh tarnishes Mansoura's reputation after Banduq enters her room. As Mansoura works as an assistant to Soso, Saleh approaches Soso without knowing that Mansoura is working for her. Bahaa and Subhy discover that Banduq is working with Saleh.
Banduq announces the truth to the residents of the building. Morsy refuses to forge a contract for Saleh in exchange for a bribe. When Siham's ex-husband, Hossam, attacks her, Mansoura saves her. Bayoumi apologizes to Mansoura for abandoning her before.
Saleh incites the residents against Mansoura after Hossam storms the building. Kamel proposes for Mansoura to get married in order to keep her job, and she marries Bayoumi.
Shabara finds Mansoura after her marriage to Bayoumi and cooperates with Subhy to rid her of him; They work in Hammam's coffee shop. As Morsy reports Wadgy and Saleh's bribe to the police, Kamel publishes the news in the papers. Saleh is involved in three lawsuits.
When Mansoura promises Omar to drop her case, Kamel accuses her of betraying him. Shukria throws Hamed out of the apartment after he proposes to Soso, so he moves to live on the roof, and Mansoura intervenes to reconcile between them. Bayoumi discovers that Mansoura evades him by drugging him.
Kamel asks Mansoura to visit the village with him to enforce his position in the elections. Shabara travels with Saleh. Mansoura discovers Saleh's secret visits to Soso.
Mansoura disguises herself as the Undersecretary of the Ministry and searches for the orphanage with Subhy. She takes advantage of Shabara's ignorance and replaces Saleh's publications with Kamel's publications. Saleh incites Bayoumi against Mansoura.
Bayoumi seeks to divorce Mansoura because she only married him to keep her job in the building. Mansoura returns to the roof with a jar filled with money. Mansour plans to marry Bayoumi to his secretary, Lawahz.
Mansoura gets divorced from Bayoumi after his marriage to Lawahz and she waives her rights. Hamed asks Kamel to help him stop his transfer from work. As Tamer takes drugs with his friend in his apartment, his sister Azza suddenly arrives.
Ahmed and Mansoura save Azza from Essam's harassment of her, and her mother returns from traveling. Mansoura cooperates with Subhy and Shabara to inform the police about Hammam's drug trade. Siham uses Kamel's position to obtain facilities for her work.
After Hammam refuses to confess against Saleh, the latter sends Madagascar to wreck Mansoura's room and steal her money. As Kamel abandons her, Mansoura returns to work with Soso, and she introduces her to the songwriter, Sayed.
Saleh asks Soso to marry him. Mansoura suffers from the harassment of her colleagues in the club. As Tamer deceives his mother, claiming that he had an operation after suffering from a kidney stone and implicating Shabara with him. Saleh's boss orders him to stop the recent drug deal.
Saleh goes through with the deal despite his boss’s warning. Mansoura confirms Madagascar's cooperation with Saleh. Shabara admits the truth to Tamer's mother. Mansoura continues to eavesdrop on Saleh while he is with Soso.
Nabila turns to Akram to return her money from Saleh. Mansoura exposes Saleh's relationship with Soso in front of Mimi and Safia, and the latter asks for a divorce. Mansoura works as a temporary secretary to Zuhair and discovers that he doesn't have a license, while Nabila prepares to wed him.
As the police arrest Zuhair, Nabila collapses. Saleh keeps evidence of Samir’s involvement with him. After the residents' coup against Mansoura, she works for Kabars with Subhy and Shabara. After Fawzy returns, he plans to marry Azza off, and she asks Ahmed to help her.
Despite her love for him, Mansoura helps Ahmed to marry Azza by mediating with Safia. Saleh asks Kabars to make a talisman in order to protect him from his financial problems with Samir, and he confesses all his crimes to him. Mansoura relays what she knows to Kamel.
As Kamel offers money to Kabars in exchange for obtaining the evidence of Saleh's crimes, Kabars increases the amount after he gets the flash drive. Kamel gets involved financially with Siham without knowing that she is hiding another identity. Kamel asks Mansoura to steal the flash drive.
As Subhy and Shabara transport drug-infused goods for Saleh without their knowledge, Samir's men steal the drugs from them after disguising themselves as policemen. Bahaa suspects Siham after Kamel sells his land to partner up with her on her project.
Wagdy cooperates with Samir, who extorts Saleh by handing him the flash drive in exchange for his merchandise. Kabars evades returning the flash drive to Saleh and returns to bargain with Kamel. Safia and Saleh get a divorce.
As Samir’s assistant accidentally kills Kabars at his home while trying to steal the flash drive, the police investigate his neighbors. Mansoura steals the flash drive after Kabars’s death, and Saleh confirms that Wagdy double-crossed him with Samir.
After Mansoura gives Samir the flash drive in exchange for the money, he plans to kill Wagdy to protect his secret. As Mansoura hands over her money to Siham to become a partner in her work, the latter escapes with her money and Kamel's money.
After Mansoura gives the police a copy of the flash drive, Samir and Saleh get arrested. She hands Kamel a copy, and he publishes the scoop in his paper and gets compensated for his financial loss. Mansoura's innocence is proven in the case of stealing the orphanage's money.
