Abu Ahmed (Ahmed’s father) scolds his brother Abdel Razek for selling a public land to someone. Abu Ragheb asks Waheed Bey to help him buy a land. As Abu Ahmed dies, Abu Naim suggests that Ahmed quit his studies at the university and run his father’s workshop, but his mother refuses.

Ahmed takes over his father’s workshop. Abu Ragheb escapes from Rabeh and Waheed after they force him to sell the land, which Rabeh agrees with Abdel Razek to enable him to, threatening Ahmed so he wouldn’t oppose him and turn the land into a park.

Rabeh tries to convince Nazir not to let his brother Ahmed control him, asking him to find out his new workplace, while Abdel Razek tells his daughter to break off her engagement to Ahmed.

Abu Zaher agrees with Rabeh and Waheed Bey to convince Ahmed to sell the house, while Abdel Razek turns down Ahmed's request to betroth his daughter Nabila to him, until he completes his studies and becomes an architect like her.

Salwa has doubts about Rabeh and tells Ahmed that she fears for him. Nabila works with Rabeh and creates a design for a building for him. Umm Ahmed (Ahmed’s mother) tells her that the land her father is selling to Rabeh is a shared property between them. Rabeh proposes to Salwa, but Ahmed objects.

Ahmed objects to his brother Nazir working, whereupon a group of unknown people beats Ahmed, who discovers that his father did not pay the last installment of the land’s payment to his uncle, and Abu Zaher asks him to pay him the penalty clause and dissolve their partnership.

As Umm Ahmed tells Nabila of her father’s seizure of their land and his wish to marry her off to Rabeh, she’s surprised to learn of her consent to marry the latter. Ahmed tells his mother that his brother Nazir has dropped out of school and discovers that he is working with Rabeh.

Rabeh's assistant tries to kill Ahmed with his car, while Ahmed's mother discovers her son Nazir's addiction. Rabeh sets up an architectural firm for his fiancée, Nabila.

Salwa takes care of her brother Nazir because of his addiction. Samir marries, saying goodbye to his family, who doesn’t approve, and travels with his wife. Rabeh hands over the money to Abdel Razek.

Nabila discovers that Rabeh wanted to marry her cousin before her, and listens in on Nazir blackmailing him, threatening to expose him, and telling him that the police searched his house and found drugs. Assi proposes to Salwa.

Ahmed demands that his uncle return half of the land to them, but he refuses and tries, along with Rabeh, to bargain with their neighbor, the village chief, so he wouldn’t testify in Ahmed's favour in court. With Assi's help, Ahmed is able to turn to the public to fight Rabeh.

Rabeh refuses to return the ownership of Abu Nabil's property to him. Nazir and Samir return when Ahmed falls ill. Nazir quarrels with Rabeh and demands his due right and money to be returned to him. The lawyer Hakim quarrels with Samir upon discovering that he is working for his own personal gain.

Samir fears the lawyer Hakim, who’s clashing with him. Nazir tells his brother that he has documents that invalidate the land contract that his uncle has. Abdel Razek gets killed, whereupon Ahmed is accused of killing him.

As the police investigate the murder of Abdel Razek, Nabila denies the charges made against her cousin Ahmed. Samir decides to divorce his wife and quit his work at her father Hakim's office. Assi escapes after telling Nazir that he knows who killed Abdel Razek.

Waheed's boss decides to get rid of Rabeh, and replace him with someone else. Samir decides to defend his brother. As Ahmed's proven innocent, the police arrest Rabeh.
