Mahmoud is a corrupt businessman who seeks to run for the People’s Assembly. He discovers the popularity of his brother, Dr. Mustafa, and the pressures he is facing to run in the same constituency. Menna has feelings for Ali, and Mustafa objects to his son Ahmed working with his uncle in his company.

Ahmed seeks to be as rich as his uncle. Ali and Menna prepare for marriage. Shukri discovers the marriage of Mahmoud and Laila, the secretary. Mustafa rejects offers from hospitals and jobs to uphold the medical mission, while Shukri fails to convince the party leaders to nominate Mahmoud on behalf of the party.

Dr. Alaa seeks to marry Laila, ignorant of her exploitation of him to obtain a master's degree. Mahmoud follows Fawzi's advice to contact Mustafa to convince him not to run against him, and Mahmoud begins treatment for infertility.

Mustafa is surprised by the dean’s request to certify his son’s test results despite his failure. Mahmoud’s trade in antiquities is revealed, and Mustafa yields to everyone’s pressure to make him run in the elections.

Mahmoud's visit to his mother ends in failure after she disowns him. Mahmoud is surprised by the party's support for his candidacy for the elections, and he refuses to officially announce his marriage to Laila.

Mustafa rejects Mahmoud's request to drop out of the elections, and Saeed, the former governor, appears after his release from prison, seeking to obtain his dirty money from Mahmoud.

Laila and her aunt continue to receive commissions due to her work with Mahmoud, Enas discovers Safi’s drug use, and Ahmed goes to work with his uncle without Mustafa’s knowledge.

Ahmed meets Safi, who attracts him to staying up late and taking drugs. Saeed suspects that Mahmoud was the one who hid his wife and children from him. It appears that everyone around Mahmoud is working without his knowledge to obtain commissions from suspicious deals.

Mahmoud continues to establish projects in order to win the elections. Mahmoud confronts Laila, saying that he knows about the commission she receives for the facilities she provides. Mahmoud is involved in money laundering by working with Camellia.

Mahmoud discovers that there are listening devices in his bedroom, and Safi continues to control Ahmed so that he forgets his principles. Ali rejects the offer to travel abroad, and Mahmoud offers Mustafa a sum of money to use in the district's projects in exchange for him dropping out.

Mustafa agrees with the seniors in the district to drop out in favor of Mahmoud, who wins the elections. Ahmed confesses his admiration for Safi. Camellia threatens Dr. Adel for forging official papers, and Ahmed discovers Ali’s knowledge of his work with his uncle.

Ahmed refuses his father’s request to stop working with his uncle. Shukri plans to marry his daughter to Ahmed. Saeed threatens Mahmoud for refusing to pay his dues. Mustafa tries to free Ahmed from his uncle’s trap.

Ahmed postpones marriage to Ashraqat, and Naeema turns to Mustafa after she discovers that Mahmoud has forged the factory contracts. Mustafa plans with his brother to settle Naeema’s debt, and Mahmoud is still trying to get closer to his mother to gain her approval.

Mahmoud is surprised by the news of his wife's pregnancy. Mustafa is surprised by the news of Ahmed's love for Safi. Camellia incites Saeed's murder. Mahmoud thinks about separating from Laila after the news of Enas's pregnancy, and Laila refuses to abort her pregnancy.

Camellia bargains with Laila to have an abortion. Meanwhile, Safi is still trying to get closer to Ahmed. Laila aborts the baby, and Mahmoud proposes to Ahmed to marry Ashraqat.

Mahmoud and Enas get into an accident that results in their deaths. Saeed wakes up from the coma. Mahmoud's mother collapses at the death of her son, and Laila threatens Camellia with documents.

Camellia and Shukri contact Mustafa to receive the inheritance. Mustafa turns to religious scholars to give a final saying regarding the payment of Mahmoud's debts and the receipt of the inheritance, so he decides to sell the companies.

Mustafa, his wife, and his children head to get an inventory of Mahmoud’s estate. Mustafa’s wife is still trying to convince him to receive the wealth, and Mustafa goes back on his decision to sell the companies.

Ashraqat breaks up with Ahmed after discovering his feelings for Safi. Camellia asks Laila to return to work to get closer to Mustafa, who agrees to run for the People's Assembly in his brother's place.

Mustafa is appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors of the companies. Adham tries to marry Menna. Saeed returns home. Meanwhile, the advisors conspire against Mustafa, who discovers that Ahmed is using drugs.

Shukri succeeds in convincing Mustafa to hand over powers to his son. Saeed threatens Mustafa to demand his rights. Mustafa suffers his wife’s neglect. Mustafa’s image changes in the eyes of the people of the district, so he wins the elections.

Camellia asks Lily to control Mustafa. She also contacts Fathi about the statue, and Mustafa gradually gives up his principles.

Laila gradually gets closer to Mustafa. Mustafa is notified of the seizure of assets within a month. He is surprised by the amount of debt required to be paid regarding Mahmoud’s trade in antiquities.

Ahmed is involved in forgery to transfer land ownership under pressure from his advisors. Fawzi is laid off from work, and Mustafa discovers Mahmoud’s secret accounts abroad.

Things get complicated after Mahmoud's money is withdrawn abroad. Camellia hides from Mahmoud the nature of the money laundering in the contract they found in the safe, and Nesma gets closer Ahmed to control him.

Mustafa begins to admire Laila. Menna worries about the wealth controlling her family, and Camellia gains Ahmed's trust to control the companies.

Ahmed reveals his admiration for Nesma. Mustafa admits his admiration for Laila. Ahmed gets involved in a fight in a nightclub, and Mustafa continues to give bribes after pressure from Shukri.

Wafai seeks to spy on Safi. Ahmed fails to rape Nesma. Laila begins to love Mustafa, and Ali obtains a master's degree.

Mustafa searches for the antique statue. Fatima contacts Shukri to plan Ahmed and Safi’s engagement without his knowledge. Nesma refuses to marry Ahmed in secrecy, while Laila agrees to marry Mustafa.

Mustafa proposes marriage to Laila. Genedy warns Mustafa about the suspicion of money laundering in the Camellia deal. Mustafa’s mother becomes concerned about her son’s principles and morals. Mustafa and Laila arrange for marriage.

Wafai succeeds in exposing Safi's infidelity to Ahmed. Mustafa succeeds in convincing Ali not to travel. Ali and Menna are married, and Fatima quarrels with Mustafa's mother, threatening to put her in a home for the elderly.

Camellia asks Ahmed to limit his father's powers, and Ahmed prepares to finalize a deal with an Israeli company. Mustafa finalizes the statue deal. Mustafa fires Saeed from the group. Laila thinks about confessing her love to Mustafa, so Laila threatens Camellia to stay away from Mustafa.

Fatima discovers Mustafa's relationship with Laila, who confides her relationship with Mahmoud to Mustafa, in addition to the advisors' plot against him. Mustafa fires the advisors. Ahmed is surprised by Camellia's intention to get rid of his father, and Mustafa leaves the wealth to return to Sharqia.
