Nadine prevents her daughter from visiting her grandfather, Abu Ibrahim. Khaled refuses to visit his father. Abu Ibrahim remembers his children’s request to sell his house to pay off their debts. The latter falls ill and is taken to the hospital, and his children leave him without care.
Ahmed scolds his brothers Ibrahim and Khaled for leaving their father in this state. Issam drains his wife Noura financially to pay off his debts to Shaaban.
Ahmed takes care of his father, and he is surprised by the university’s threat to expel him from his studies due to his constant absence. Khaled refuses to host his father at his home after he leaves the hospital, and Ibrahim’s wife and Noura’s husband, Issam, also refuse.
When Ibrahim is forced to take his father to his home, Nadine gets angry and refuses to let him stay. Ahmed is forced to travel to complete his studies at university.
Ahmed is expelled from the university, and Nadine refuses to let him stay at home. Shaaban asks Issam that they continue their illegal work together, and Fayza resents her husband Khaled’s behavior toward his father and his cruelty to his company’s employees.
Ahmed is upset by Nadine's bad treatment of him, as she refuses to welcome his father's guests at home. Khaled suggests that Ahmed look for a job, and at the same time, Issam tries to convince Shaaban to accept a job abroad to keep him away from him.
Ahmed starts looking for work, Khaled refuses to help him, and Nadine devises a plan to get Abu Ibrahim and Ahmed out of the house.
Noura quarrels with Nadine, and the latter kicks her out of the house. Khaled deceives Hamza and seizes his house with a mortgage. Fayza resents Khaled's stinginess.
Noura is upset that Issam objects to her brother Ahmed visiting her and prevents her from meeting him. At the same time, Fayza complains to her father about Khaled’s way of dealing with her and not allowing her to visit him.
Abu Ibrahim's condition worsens and he is taken to the hospital. Nadine accuses Ahmed of stealing her gold bracelet.
Hamza gathers Ibrahim and his siblings at his house to reconcile them, and Ahmed tries to prove his innocence of the charge of stealing Nadine's gold bracelet.
Khaled scolds Ibrahim for his weak character in front of his wife Nadine. Ibrahim feels remorse towards his father. Khaled is forced to host his father at his home after he leaves the hospital. Khaled agrees to employ Shaaban in his company.
Nadine asks Ibrahim to let his father return to her house after discovering that he owns a large plot of land. Abu Ibrahim asks Khaled to employ his brother Ahmed in his company and have him stay in his house.
Khaled quarrels with Fayza because of her father’s frequent visits to their house and he refuses to let her go to see her brother before he undergoes serious surgery in the hospital, and the brother dies.
Fayza breaks down at the death of her brother, and a funeral is held at her home. At the same time, Shaaban gets closer to Khaled and succeeds in gaining his trust at work.
Khaled falsely claims to Shaaban that his family treats him harshly and that his father pampers Ahmed at his expense. Noura discovers that Issam’s deceived and defrauded her. Fayza asks Khaled to allow her to have children, but he refuses.
Khaled takes advantage of Ahmed's presence at home and asks him to do the house's chores. Ibrahim asks his father to return to his home, but he refuses out of fear of his wife Nadine.
Khaled plots with Shaaban to compete in the market in a dishonest way to achieve large profits, and Nadine is upset because she failed to convince Abu Ibrahim to return to live with her so she can take over his farm.
Ibrahim finds the bracelet that Ahmed was accused of stealing from Nadine and regrets unjustly accusing him. Issam asks Khaled to lend him a sum of money to pay off his debts.
Khaled rejects Issam's request to be his partner at work, and objects to Nadine and his brother Ibrahim visiting his house all the time. Abu Ibrahim tells Saleh that he regrets pampering his children.
Abu Ibrahim gathers his children and tells them of his desire for Ahmed to marry the daughter of Abu Abdul Rahman and asks them to help Ahmed in matters of marriage. Khaled asks Ahmed to quit his job as a guard at the bank because of his social status.
Ahmed leaves the house because Khaled treats him badly, and Ibrahim is forced to tell Abu Abdul Rahman that Ahmed will not marry Laila.
Khaled offers Issam a job with him in exchange for Issam preventing Noura from visiting anyone in the family. He also prevents Ahmed from checking on his father, accuses him of stealing money from his house, and discovers Nadine's plan to seize his father's farm.
Khaled decides to sell his father's farm after learning of its high financial value. Issam quarrels with his wife and beats her, and Ahmed succeeds in selling his paintings so he can earn money to spend.
Khaled tries to convince his father to sell his farm, but his father rejects the idea, so Khaled decides to declare him legally incompetent. Abdul Rahman tries to reach Ahmed to no avail. The latter holds an art exhibition of paintings and reaps the benefits.
Ibrahim quarrels with Khaled and refuses that their father be declared legally incompetent. Khaled takes revenge on Ibrahim and has him imprisoned. Ibrahim divorces his wife Nadine after discovering her plan. Khaled kicks Fayza out of the house and discovers that he is suffering from kidney failure.
Khaled's health condition deteriorates and he regrets his neglect of his father after the latter's death. Fayza donates her kidney to him, and Issam also regrets his harsh treatment of Noura, while Ahmed gets Ibrahim released from prison.
