With Selim in debt, he convinces his brother Abu Wahid (Wahid's father) to sell his share of the inheritance. Selim threatens Abu Adel with a gun to seize the money that he took from Abu Wahid. Umm Wahid (Wahid's mother) admonishes Umm Omar (Omar's mother) over Omar's harassment of her daughter.

Abu Adel gives Selim money for his share of the inheritance, but they don't sign a contract. When Abu Wahid quarrels with Omar over his sullying of Azab's reputation, Omar kills him. Umm Wahid helps Omar's family escape Selim's wrath.

Wahid interferes in Azab's life and prevents her from finishing her education. When Wahid takes control of his father's business, he denies taking any money from Abu Adel. Umm Wahid agrees to give up her inheritance to Maged. Selim and Ghaleb smuggle merchandise. Wahid convinces Maged to work with him.

After pressure from Maged, Umm Wahid agrees to wed Selim. Selim gambles his money away and incurs a lot of debt, giving up the shop to Ghaleb to make up for it. The shop's deed gets stolen from Umm Wahid's room.

Maged beats Wedad after she accuses him and Selim of stealing the contract and her family's money. When Wedad enlists Abu Khaled's help, Selim beats her. Despite their age difference, Ghaleb proposes to Azab and gives Selim and Maged money to agree.

After their marriage, Ghaleb treats Azab well. Ghaleb's sister Samira gets close to Azab, whose questions about Ghaleb's work go unanswered. As Ghaleb's merchandise gets stolen, he rents the house of Abu Omar (Omar's father). When he finds out about Azab's story with Omar, he beats her.

When Ghaleb locks Azab up in the house and demands his money back from her family, Samira helps Azab escape. Wahid tells the police about Ghaleb's merchandise. Ghaleb tries to force Azab to go back home, but when she tries to protect Samira, he stabs her.

Wedad gives Ghaleb his money back. Azab escapes from the hospital behind Wedad's back. When the businessman Farag saves Azab, her resemblance to his late daughter Kholoud encourages him to adopt her. Ghaleb kills Selim to take revenge for Azab's escape.

Wedad reports Azab's disappearance to the police. Azab moves in with Farag and pretends to be amnesic. When Wahid gets kidnapped, Wedad sells her house to pay the ransom. The imprisoned Omar discovers that Ghaleb's men are the ones who kidnapped Wahid. Farag refuses to wed Azab to Rabi'e.

As Farag discovers what happened to Azab's family, he is unable to find Wedad and Wahid after they flee the neighborhood. Azab follows Kholoud's example and helps Rahaf financially. Abu Rabi'e (Rabi'e's father) gets Farag's secretary Jamila to spy on Farag for him.

Omar assures Ghaleb that Azab is innocent. As Maged steals the money that remains with Wedad, an accident leaves him blind. Despite his love for Kholoud, Rabi'e gets engaged to Nada. Azab gets a divorce and plans to complete her education abroad.

Before she flees, Jamila makes unfavourable deals with Abu Rabi'e towards Rabi'e. After his marriage to Nada, Rabi'e discovers what his father has done. Wedad starts working as a maid in the house of Abu Rabi'e. Farag learns about Jamila's betrayal and his financial loss.

As Nada mistreats Wedad, she also clashes with Rabi'e and his mother. Ghaleb sends Mansour to look for Azab. Abu Rabi'e promises to help Wedad find her daughter. Farag sells his company. Talal proposes to Samira.

Mansour kidnaps Maged and tortures him to divulge Azab's location. When Wedad shows Rabi'e's family a picture of her daughter, they discover her resemblance to Kholoud. Nada leaves the house after a fight with Rabi'e and his family. Rabi'e enlists Hamed's help to find Azab.

As Maged deceives Mansour's assistant and escapes, he informs the police about the location of his warehouse. When Manal runs Maged over, Abu Rabi'e helps him. Hamed publishes Azab's picture and story in the papers. Farid tells Farag about what happened.

Farag keeps the news about Azab's mother's search for her from Azab until she completes her studies. Nada returns to Rabi'e's house. Samira visits Hamed to find Wedad. Nada claims that Wedad has stolen her golden jewelry.

Wedad reveals what Ghaleb has done to Samira. Ghaleb beats his fellow inmate when he finds out that he is the one who plotted Wahid's kidnapping with Maged. Rabi'e exposes Nada as a liar in front of their families. Salah discovers that Maged is at Abu Sa'eid's house.

Farag orders Farid to send an anonymous message to Hamed to inform him of Azab's survival. Abu Rabi'e is concerned that his son will resume his pursuit of Kholoud after his quarrel with Nada.

Salah gets engaged to Manal as he prepares a project in the city. Rabi'e insists on leaving Nada. Despite the pressure on her, Wedad refuses Samira's financial help. Hamed and Rahaf grow close.

Salah borrows some money from Abu Rabi'e to start his project, only to vanish. Wahid sees Maged at Abu Sa'eid's house. When he tells Wedad, Maged runs away. Rabi'e divorces Nada.

It's revealed that Salah has been lying and that he has another wife. Wedad tries to meet Maged. Rabi'e tries to get Azab's address from Rahaf. As the years pass, Wahid asks Wedad to quit her job at Abu Rabi'e's house.

As Farag and Azab return from their travels, he assigns Farid as her bodyguard. When Hamed gets engaged to Rahaf, Azab meets Rabi'e. Manal starts working for her father. Ghaleb assigns Omar to find Azab after his release.

Abu Rabi'e follows the news about Farag's newest deal after he returns to the company. Omar threatens Abu Adel to get him to provide information for him. Hamed gets an anonymous message, assuring him that Azab is well and will be reunited with her mother. Azab runs into her uncle in the street.

Without revealing who she is, Azab goes with Maged to the villa. Wahid discovers that Abu Omar's daughter is his classmate. Despite Farag's warnings, Rabi'e visits Azab. Abu Adel informs Mansour and Omar that he saw Azab in the neighborhood. Jamila confesses the truth to Farag and returns the money.

After a confrontation with Abu Rabi'e, Farag has a heart attack and is rushed to the hospital. Azab takes charge of the company in his absence. Mounira gets close to Maged. When Abu Rabi'e asks Diab to steal the contract of a tender from Farag's office, Diab informs Azab.

Azab sends the details of a fake tender with Diab. When she discovers the ads that Wedad took out to look for her, Azab meets with the police detective to find her mother. Rabi'e falls ill and gets hospitalized. Farag returns home.

Ghaleb gets released. Mansour follows Azab when she visits the neighborhood. Abu Rabi'e loses the tender. Azab refuses to allow Abu Rabi'e to visit his son at the hospital. When Ghaleb visits her, Azab hides who she really is.

As Ghaleb assigns Samira to contact Azab, he blackmails Azab and demands money in exchange for revealing Wedad and Wahid's location. Wedad visits Farag's company in Azab's absence. Abu Adel tells Azab about Malek, Mansour, and Omar's work.

As Azab reunites with her family, Wedad promises to help Rabi'e until he recovers. Farag passes away after leaving everything to Azab. Azab refuses to remarry Ghaleb and reports his threats to the police.

Wedad reconciles with Maged. Azab records Ghaleb's death threat. As the police look for Ghaleb and Omar, Omar kills Ghaleb and shoots at Wahid. Azab buys back her mother's house and gives it to her.
