Nazem is known for his integrity at work. He refuses to accept bribes from his clients, against the advice of his friend Monzer.

Fayza accepts a bribe to facilitate work for Monzer. Nazem discovers Monzer's tampering and that he is trying to arrange for Saleh to get the tender, causing him to lose out on the tender.

When Saleh demands his money back, Monzer tries to gather money from the employees. Walid tries to convince Nazem to help move things along for his business, but Nazem refuses. Walid pulls out all the stops to convince him.

Hoda helps Walid convince Nazem. Abir is annoyed that her fiancé, Mo'ayad, is interfering with her life.

Monzer decides to benefit from his wife's job. Nazem learns that Abu Sa'eid is using the company car for his own benefits and sues him for wasting public funds.

Abu Sa'eid decides to set Nazem up. As he starts extorting him, Monzer starts helping. Wa'el is upset that Dr. Zuhair refuses to publish his articles.

When the company car gets stolen, the employees seize the chance to take advantage of Nazem, since it was under his custody. Walid appears to get his documents approved.

After the car is returned, Nazem decides to get revenge on Monzer and the rest of the employees. Walid's plans fail.

When Adnan decides to get rid of Nazem and his strictness, he incites the rest of the employees against him. Monzer pulls out all the stops to take advantage of his wife.

The employees decide to take the company car out on a ride behind Nazem's back. When he finds out, he becomes determined to reclaim his prestige.

Monzer enlists Walid's help to bring Nazem down. When Nazem falls ill, Monzer decides to expedite all the delayed projects. Nazem's family and subordinates are shocked when they witness the change that Nazem went through.

Monzer decides to fire Abir for not cooperating with him. When he tells her mother that she is having an affair, Abir reports him to the police.

Nazem is unable to bear his wife so he decides to wed his secretary Amal. Abir learns that Adnan is the one behind the threatening calls she has been getting. With Nazem's approval, Walid agrees with Dr. Hossam to close the deal.

Nazem approves Dr. Hossam's tender. Amal agrees to marry Nazem after her family pressures her to.

When Abir grows upset with Abu Aksam's domineering behavior, she is distressed that Nazem hasn't intervened like he used to. Nazem decides to take advantage of Dr. Hossam behind Monzer's back.

Nazem starts to look for a house for Amal. When Wa'el leaves his job with Zuhair, he asks his father for help to find a job.

Nazem marries Amal behind his family's back. Walid learns about Nazem's marriage and starts to harass him.

Abir sues Adnan and Fayza for taking bribes to facilitate transactions for clients. Fayza asks Monzer to intervene.

Hoda finds out about Nazem's marriage to Amal. Monzer takes advantage of Nazem's absence to have several tenders.

Hoping to ruin Nazem's life, Hoda files a complaint in the ministry against him to punish him for marrying Amal.

As Nazem pretends to revert back to his honest ways, he leaves Amal on Hoda's request.

Nazem evades Hossam after the minister summons him. It's revealed that the minister gave Nazem a reward. Nazem starts embezzling money again.

When Nazem decides to marry Jouriya, Monzer steps in to take revenge on him by proposing to Jouriya.

Walid's greed distresses his wife Mayada. Amal refuses to give up the apartment to Nazem.

Walid offers for Nazem to wed Haifaa, and Nazem agrees. Monzer forces his wife to approve his marriage to Jouriya.

Jouriya refuses to marry Monzer after meeting Dr. Wesal. Nazem's children learn that he took another wife.

Wesal kicks Monzer out and decides to turn her life around. Walid separates from Mayada. Hoda tells Wa'el to find a job.

When Nazem returns, he discovers that his family's life has been ruined. Nazem cheats his way to getting a doctorate.

Haitham asks Wa'el for Mayada's hand in marriage, but the former refuses. Walid expands his business with Dr. Hossam, ignorant of how he is being set up as a scapegoat. Walid gets arrested. Nazem becomes rich.

Nazem is anxious when he learns that an inspection committee has arrived. As he loses his money and falls ill, his family looks after him. Another manager is appointed in his stead.
