After serving a long prison term, Gordon Gekko finds himself out of the financial world he once controlled. He forms an alliance with Jake, his daughter's fiance, who sees him as a father figure and tries to follow Gordon's footsteps.
This title is a drama that was directed by Oliver Stone. The film is a sequel to the hugely successful 1987 title “Wall Street” and is notable for being the first sequel Stone has made for any of his films. Actor Michael Douglas retains his Oscar-winning role as Gordon Gekko. The film also hosts the talents of Josh Brolin, Carey Mulligan among others while Charlie Sheen makes a brief cameo appearance reprising his role as Bud Fox. The film is set 23 years after the events depicted in the original “Wall Street”. Reformed Wall Street magnate Gordon Gekko (Michael Dougals) tries to help the financial industry avert the upcoming 2008 financial crisis. He also attempts to set things right with his estranged daughter.
