Salah exploits his wife financially and spends her money on his own projects. Umm Abdullah (Abdullah's mother) holds her husband responsible for the departure of their eldest son, Abdullah, after he kicked him out.

Abdullah tells his wife Bodour that he must return to Kuwait. Meanwhile, Abu Abdullah (Abdullah's father) decides to sell the house to pay off his debts.

Bodour is shocked when Abdullah flees to Kuwait and leaves her abroad. Hamad tries to persuade his father to borrow instead of selling the house. Mona is taken to the hospital after her brother Osama beats her to please his wife, Sahar.

Bashayer asks Salah that they adopt a child because she is unable to have children, and Abdullah is surprised when Bodour returns to Kuwait.

Bodour asks for a divorce after Abdullah abandoned her while abroad, and Hamad tries to reconcile them. Umm Osama tries to hide Abdullah’s return from his father.

Abdullah gives Hamad the money needed to pay off their father's debts. Abdullah cooperates with Salah and Osama in opening a new company. Hamad is attracted to Bodour's sister, Reem.

After he meets his mother, Abdullah discovers that she has gone blind from her grief over him. Bashayer finds a baby boy and asks Salah that they adopt him, but he refuses and tells her that he is marrying another woman so that she can give him children.

Salah agrees to Bashayer's request to adopt the child so that she will give him the money he wants, and Sahar likes Hamad.

Abdullah quarrels with Osama because they disagree over their share of the profits. Hamad fears that his father will discover Abdullah’s presence in the company.

Abu Abdullah forgives his son and asks him to stay at home with his wife, Bodour. Osama suffers a tragic car accident. Hamad tells his parents of his desire to marry Reem.

Salah thinks that Bashayer is cheating on him, so he watches her. Sahar gives up caring for Osama during his illness and after he becomes paralyzed.

Bashayer asks for a divorce, and Hamad postpones his and Reem's wedding until after Osama is released from the hospital.

Sahar asks for a divorce due to Osama's permanent disability. Mona is shocked when she learns of Hamad's relationship with Reem. Bodour tells Hamad of Abdullah's revenge on Salah and his demand that his father pay his debts.

Abdullah files a lawsuit against his father for issuing a bad check, and the latter suffers a heart attack and dies.

Osama regrets what he did to his mother and sister to please his wife. Bashayer kicks Salah out of the house. Bodour lets Abdullah die after he takes the wrong medicine.
