The play deals with the biography of the last Umayyad prince, Abd al-Rahman al-Dakhil, known as Saqr Quraysh, during the Abbasid Revolution, and how he fled to Al-Andalus, which was divided between Berbers and Arabs, to unify ranks and establish the Umayyad Caliphate in Al-Andalus.
