The play deals with the biography of the last Umayyad prince, Abd al-Rahman al-Dakhil, known as Saqr Quraish during the Abbasid Revolution, and how he fled to Andalusia, which was scattered between Berbers and Arabs, to unify ranks and establish the Umayyad Caliphate in Andalusia.
