As Moncef is married to a rich older woman, he tricks her and seizes all of her property. Also, he kidnaps their baby daughter, gives her to a childless woman, and flees to France. When he returns to Algeria, he tries again to blackmail and defraud her by introducing his girlfriend to her as their daughter, Wahiba.
