Abu Adel (Adel's father) refuses to acknowledge his marriage to the secretary Lilian, who gives birth to their child then she places her in front of his house. Abu Adel asks Naji to return her to Lilian, but Naji secretly takes her and raises her with his wife, Salma, who does not have children.

Years pass and Asrar goes to college, while Abu Adel does not know that she is his daughter, whom he left with Naji. Mohamed's mother proposes to her son to marry Manal, while Raad is upset about his family's bad conditions and asks his friend Adel to mediate with his father to increase Abu Raad's salary.

Manal refuses to marry Mohamed, and Abu Adel tells Naji about his remorse for leaving his daughter as an infant and asks him to call Lilian and check on her. Raad helps his father with the household expenses by working with him.

As Adel convinces his sister to marry Mohamed, the wedding takes place, while he gets to know and admire Asrar.

Naji is taken to the hospital after suffering a heart attack, and Adel quarrels with Raad, who is worried about the impact of this on his father's work at Abu Adel's company.

Adel takes care of Naji's family during his illness, and Adel tells Salma of his desire to propose to Asrar.

Abu Adel refuses that his son marries Asrar due to the social difference between them. Mohamed resents Manal's disregard for marital life and her neglect of him.

Adel asks Abu Raad to mediate with Naji to agree to his marriage to Asrar.

Abu Adel dies after a quarrel with his son over the latter's insistence on marrying Asrar.

After Salma tells Asrar that Adel will fire Naji from the company to pressure him into agreeing to their marriage, Asrar decides to stay away from him. Manal tells her husband of her pregnancy.

Salma and Asrar are forced to sell their jewelry in order to get money, while Naji searches for another job. Mohamed quarrels with Manal after giving birth and neglecting the children.

Manal leaves her children, and Mohamed thinks of divorcing her. Naji works with Abdul Hamid, who thinks of marrying Asrar despite the big age difference between them.

As Asrar decides to look for a job after Naji's severe illness, Raad helps her in that. Manal cheats on her husband, while Adel bargains with Asrar to marry her secretly in return for not kicking them out of the house.

Mohamed files an obedience lawsuit against Manal. Naji becomes paralyzed, and Salma is forced to move to another house after Adel fires Asrar and Raad from the company.

Mohamed helps Salma and Asrar and asks them to stay in his family's home after Naji's death.

Salma is forced to work as a maid in the house of Mohamed's family, and Asrar helps her in raising the children of Mohamed and Manal.

Mohamed's mother tries to reconcile him and his wife, Manal, to no avail, while Salma gets close to Mohamed's children. Adel asks his mother to agree to his marriage to his secretary.

Adel watches his sister Manal and discovers her relationship with a guy, who abandons her and refuses to marry Manal.

Adel tries to convince Abu Fahd of the bad reputation of Salma and her daughter Asrar, and warns him of them robbing his house.

Salma tells Abu Fahd that she forced Asrar to falsely claim that she is mentally ill so that she can live safely in his house, and keep her away from anyone's eyes.

Mohamed's mother worries about her son's closeness to Asrar, who tells Mohamed about her previous relationship with Adel.

Mohamed asks his mother to agree to his marriage to Asrar, but her insistence on refusal prompts him to leave the house with Salma and Asrar.

Adel marries his secretary, and Manal tries to return to Mohamed, who refuses after Salma insists that he divorce her so that he can marry Asrar.

Salma asks Mohamed to divorce Manal first so that he can marry Asrar. Abu Fahd surprises Salma by his knowledge that she raised Lilian's daughter when she was young, and confronts her about the matter.

Salma confesses to Abu Fahd that Asrar is Lilian's daughter and that she took over raising her after her daughter's death. Mohamed marries Asrar, and Abu Raad resents his son's drinking and his deteriorating condition.

Abu Sami asks Raad to confess to having committed a crime in exchange for paying the costs of Raad's mother's operation.

As Asrar discovers that she is the daughter of Abu Adel, Salma decides to reveal the matter to everyone.

Asrar asks Mohamed for a divorce, but he refuses after she becomes pregnant.

Mohamed gives a letter to Lilian proving that she's Asrar's mother, and Safi asks Adel's wife to help Adel's mother undergo urgent surgery.

As Adel loses his company, Manal accepts Asrar's new situation, and acknowledges that she's her sister.
