Ghada tries to push her husband, Salem, to ask his father to work at the company. His younger sister, Noura, listens in on their conversation and tells her father about it. Badr’s collegemates try to convince him to run in the student elections.
Saud meets the waitress Hanan, and decides to help her and hire her in his company. Aunt Tahani falls ill and is taken to the hospital.
Hanan takes her job at Saud's company, and Adel resents Reem’s closeness to and admiration for Badr.
Ghada quarrels with Noura, as does Arif with his brother Adel. Arif agrees with Rabeh to deal drugs.
Abu Adel (Adel's father) is saddened by the municipality's decision to vacate and demolish his shop. Nawaf asks his wife Dalal to pay attention to her marriage like she does with work. Adel tells Souad that he wants to marry Reem, but she advises him to stay away from her.
Arif asks his uncle Saud for a job in his company. After she reads Noura's diaries, Ghada quarrels with her because of what she wrote about her.
Saud reassures his brother Abu Adel that he will buy the shop so that it will not be demolished. Nawaf tries to make his wife Dalal jealous.
Arif agrees with Jarrah on the date of the smuggling operation. Saud reprimands Ghada after she and her husband ask to move to a private residence. Saud asks Hanan to marry him, while Reem tells Badr of Adel’s intrusion and his attempt to get close to her.
Hanan's uncle rejects the idea of her marrying Saud due to the age difference between them. Tahani discovers that Dalal is taking birth control pills so that she does not have children with her husband, Nawaf.
Adel agrees with his collegemate to photograph Reem while she is sleeping. Ghada tells everyone that she is pregnant, while Badr proposes to marry Reem. Arif quarrels with Fawaz, and the latter is taken to the hospital. Nawaf confronts Dalal about her taking birth control pills.
Nawaf divorces Dalal. Adel blackmails Reem with the pictures. Fawaz refuses to report Arif's assault on him. Hanan agrees to marry Saud.
As Saud marries Hanan, he refuses to give up some tender in favor of Sultan, so the latter tries to convince Fawaz to collude with him against Saud. Badr wins the university elections.
Abu Adel kicks his son Arif out of the house for drinking alcohol, while Adel discovers that Arif is selling drugs to university students. Dalal decides to run in the elections. Saud expels Fawaz from the company and unjustly accuses him of colluding with Sultan.
Sultan accuses Saud of burning his merchandise warehouses. The latter refuses his son’s marriage to Sultan’s daughter, Reem. The doctor tells Ghada of the fetus’s deformity and the necessity of aborting it, while Salem discovers his father’s marriage to his secretary.
Tahani saves Noura from an attempted assault by someone from whom she bought devices to spy on her family. Ghada decides to have an abortion. The plane on which Sultan and his daughter Reem are traveling crashes. Saud discovers that he wronged Fawaz after Arif confesses to what happened.
Badr falls into a bad psychological state after Reem's death, and Adel is shocked after hearing the news. Salem threatens Hanan and asks her to leave his father. Dalal discovers that Nawaf is married to another woman, while Ghada has an abortion.
Badr's life deteriorates as Tahani tries to support him. Dalal fails to gather votes for her election. Hanan refuses to bargain with Salem financially to separate from Saud.
Badr hangs out with Arif's bad friends, sharing alcohol and drugs with them. Dalal asks Saud to support her in the elections.
Hanan asks Saud to launch a project in her name. Arif plans with Salem to film his father with Hanan, and he delivers the video to Tahani.
As Tahani confronts Saud about his marriage to Hanan, he takes the latter to his house and presents everyone with a fait accompli. Adel consoles Badr in his ordeal.
Saud beats his son Badr, who becomes addicted to drugs, and the police arrest Ghada following a report from Saud.
Ghada is released from prison after Saud drops the report, and the latter asks his daughter to withdraw from the elections in favor of her competitor. Tahani treats Hanan in a bad way.
Noura discovers Badr's addiction to drugs, while Adel's friend agrees with him to help Badr get out of the bad state that has taken hold of him.
Dalal refuses to drop out of the elections. Ghada films Hanan while she is meeting with Fawaz to reconcile him and Saud, who beats her and expels her from the house when Salem sends him the pictures.
Hanan's friend tries to reconcile Saud and Hanan, and Fawaz asks to meet Saud to clarify his relationship with and the reason for meeting Hanan, but Saud expels him from the office.
Dalal fails in the elections; Salem tries to expel Hanan from the house after she returns; Saud dies.
The police find criminal suspicion in Saud's death, so they question everyone, while Salem accuses Hanan of killing him, so the police arrest her.
Salem and his wife Ghada seize the company and all the property, while the police question everyone, and Badr asks his family to divide the inheritance.
Badr has an illicit relationship with a girl and discovers that he has AIDS. Noura tells the police detective that she suspects the killer is in their house.
Badr is taken to the hospital to receive treatment, and Adel supports him. The police question Arif after Badr accuses him of drug trafficking.
Jarrah kills Arif for fear that he will tell on him. Sultan kills Jarrah after discovering that he did not die in the plane crash and that he killed Saud. Ghada tells Salem that she is infertile.
