Haj Abd Alsattar owns a tannery and lives a comfortable life with his family. As his daughter Noura prepares for her wedding, Abd Alsattar tries to convince his eldest, Mokhtar, to get married, but Mokhtar is secretly married to a woman called Samah.
Haj Abd Alsattar admires one of his customers called Naema and he wants to marry her.
Saad tries in vain to please Rasha. Abd Alsattar fights with a thug who wants to forcibly wed Naema.
Abd Alsattar marries Naema and they spend the honeymoon in Lebanon. They meet Nadem, who asks Abd Alsattar to work with him in counterfeit medicine.
Ashraf's son Omar is in critical condition and needs a heart transplant. Abd Alsattar mortgages all his property to share a drug operation with Nadem. Abd Alsattar dies.
Nadeem tells Naema that they need to pick up the shipment or they will get arrested. Naema asks for her share of the inheritance.
Mokhtar's brothers find out about the nature of the shipment. Asharf tells them he will stop this shipment.
Saad, Ashraf, and their mother refuse to go through with the illegal drug deal. Nadeem wants to finish the deal with Naema without Abd Alsattar's sons.
As Naema has an affair with Nadem, his wife tries to get rid of her. Mokhtar tries to force Ashraf to agree on the deal by trying to prevent his son from having the operation.
When Saad and Mokhtar finally manage to convince Ashraf to agree on the deal, Mokhtar asks his brothers to accompany him to pick up the shipment.
After Mokhtar kills a customs employee by accident, he delivers the shipment to a drug dealer and hides the money in a small cemetery. He pays off their property debts.
Nadeem leaves his wife to marry Naema. Samah moves with Mokhtar to his family's house. A guy called Mustafa is charged with killing the customs supervisor.
As Saad and Rasha prepare their new villa, they meet their neighbor Nancy who is married to a big businessman.
Mokhtar's mother gets sick and Samah stands by her. Nadeem becomes Mokhtar's partner in his new company.
Mokhtar's friends decide to scam him and they agree with Malika to buy the cabaret.
Samah starts to run the family business. Saad marries Rasha in a lavish ceremony.
Mokhtar decides to buy the cabaret for Malika and he marries her customarily.
Noura helps her husband with his project and he withdraws money from her account after she gives him a procuration.
Noura asks for a divorce. Nadeem seizes Naema's property.
Saad finds out that Rasha doesn't want to have kids with him. Mokhtar wants to have kids but Samah is sterile.
Noura gives birth to a boy. Mokhtar manages to take revenge on his friends and has them arrested.
Mokhtar agrees to take another wife to have a child of his own. Naema goes to live in the family's villa.
Rasha's parents persuade their daughter to divorce Saad after he loses his money. Mokhtar wants to marry Farha who is having an affair with Ragab who used to work in the tannery.
As Farha falls pregnant with Ragab's baby, she tries to get an abortion but the doctor wouldn't allow it. Mokhtar marries Farha.
Naema starts running the stores. Farha tells Mokhtar that she is pregnant.
Samah finds out that Ragab is hiding drugs in the tannery and Mokhtar wants to teach him a lesson. Rasha files a divorce lawsuit against Saad.
Naema agrees with Mokhtar to kidnap Nadeem's son in order to get her money back. Saad plans to take revenge on Rasha by accusing her of adultery.
Saad forces Rasha to live with him till she gives birth. Omar passes away.
Houda kills herself. Mustafa is executed behind Ashraf's back.
Naema is arrested for attacking Nadeem who becomes paralyzed. When Samah refuses to give Ragab money, he kills her. Mokhtar breaks down when he discovers the truth about Farha. After losing all his money, Saad kills Rasha by accident then kills himself. Ashraf arrests Mokhtar.
