Imam, a naive and well-meaning guy from the countryside, is sent by his father to his cousin, who works as a janitor in a building in Zamalek, to complete his college studies. His cousin, who controls many matters in the building, lets him settle in an empty apartment. Then Imam seeks to solve the problems at the building and provide his services for free.
