Nazir and his friend, Mohy El Din, go to buy a car from Abu Ahmed but discover that Abu Ahmed sold the car. After Mohy El Din hits a boy with the car, the officer interrogates him.

Nazir and Mohy El Din quarrel with their neighbors, then the police arrest them. Nazir calls his friend and asks him to call his relative to get them out of prison. The police demolish a room in Nazir's house, which saddens him and his mother a lot.

Businessman Jalal goes to the workshop of the friends Nazir and Mohy El Din to repair his car. Nazir calls Jalal and tells him that his car is ready and that he has forgotten his bag in the car. Nazir and Mohy refuse to take money from Jalal.

Nazir and Mohy El Din go to Jalal's party and meet his daughters, Karis and Lilas, who take a liking to Nazir and Mohy El Din.

Nazir and Mohy El Din meet Lilas and Karis again. Lilas confesses her great admiration for Mohy El Din. Karis asks Nazir to go with her to Beirut to spend several days there, but he refuses.

As Khajo falls ill, Kasmo takes her to the hospital, and Sobhia searches for Nazir and Mohy El Din everywhere to tell them about it. Nazir gets angry at Mohy El Din after he learns that the latter knew about Khajo's illness and did not tell him.

Lilas tells her father, Jalal, that she no longer wants to be with Jihad. Karis calls Mohy El Din, tells him that Lilas will marry Jihad, and asks him to meet her.

Karis invites Mohy El Din and Nazir to a party at her father's house. As Mohy goes to the party without Nazir, Karis asks him about his friend, so he tells her that he didn't come because he's ill. Lilas learns the truth about Nazir and Mohy El Din and decides to confront him in front of the people.

As merchants ask Nazir to transport their goods, he agrees and goes with them, then one of them comes from behind him and hits him on the head, after which his car gets stolen. Mohy El Din learns of what happened, discovers the perpetrator, and gets the car back.

Nazir wakes up and is discharged from the hospital. Khajo tells her boyfriend, Mohy El Din, that she still loves him. Nazir tells his friend, Mohy El Din, that they need to look for another repair shop.

Mohy El Din suggests to his friend, Nazir, that they rent their car during the period of their work in the workshop to earn more money and get out of the financial distress that has beset them.

Nazir rebuilds the part of his room that the police demolished. As an old man asks for Khajo's hand in marriage, she tells him that she is engaged and loves her fiancé, Mohy El Din, and that they will get married after a month.

Lilas meets Mohy El Din, tells him that she still loves him, and asks him to marry her. Mohy El Din goes to his fiancée, Khajo, and tells her of his love for her, and before he leaves, he tells her that he got married, so she goes crazy.

Lilas holds a big wedding at her father's house. Khajo comes and asks Mohy El Din to leave with her, but he refuses, which saddens Khajo, and before she leaves, Jalal asks her to take money from him, but she refuses.

Nazir gets very upset when he learns that his friend took his sister and his mother to the wedding. As Mohy El Din quarrels with Lilas, she tells him that she is the one who bought him and not the other way around.

Lilas tells her father, Jalal, that Mohy El Din quarreled with her, whereupon Jalal calls Mohy El Din, scolds him, and warns him not to upset his daughter again or quarrel with her.

Khajo decides to go stand outside her beloved Mohy El Din's villa to see him. Mohy El Din sees Khajo from afar, remembers his days with her, and feels regret for what he did to her. Khajo gets angry, leaves the place, and decides not to come back again.

Nazir gets angry at his fiancée, Sobhia, Mohy El Din's sister, and tells her that it was her brother who caused his sister Khajo's sadness. Jihad, Lilas's former fiancé, hatches a plan to get rid of Mohy El Din.

Lilas quarrels with her husband, Mohy El Din, and warns him of her anger toward him. A woman who works in Jalal's company incites Mohy El Din to seize all of his wife's money so that she does not turn against him.

When Mohy El Din learns that Nazir is imprisoned, he goes to offer help to his mother; however, she opens the door for him but refuses to let him in and even refuses his help in the matter.

Mohy El Din quarrels with his wife and slaps her, whereupon Jalal quarrels with Mohy El Din over his beating of his daughter, Lilas.

Firas disavows Lilas after she told him that her friend had tried to assault her. Also, he tells her not to call him again. Jihad tries to drive a wedge between Lilas and Mohy El Din.

Nazir is released from prison. When Khajo sees Mohy El Din by chance, he evades her. Lilas suspects that her husband is having an affair with secretary Sari.

As Mohy El Din goes to see his sister, Sobhia, at Nazir's house, Nazir refuses to let him in and confronts him, then the matter escalates into a quarrel between them. Nazir asks Mohy El Din to leave and not return to the neighborhood again.

Nazir agrees to his sister Khajo's marriage to Abu Salim, and when Mohy El Din learns about it, he goes crazy. Abu Salim warns his wife, Khajo, not to let sadness show on her face all the time and tells her that if she does not change herself, he will make her.

Abu Salim's wife quarrels with Khajo on the first day of her marriage. Mohy El Din hears his wife talking to another person and cheating on him, so he causes her to be hospitalized, and the police arrest him.

Sobhia gives birth and then dies, upon which Nazir grieves deeply for his wife. Nazir takes his child to his friend, Mohy El Din, to see him while he is imprisoned and tells him that his sister, Sobhia, has passed away. Abu Salim takes his wife, Khajo, and travels.
