Dr. Laila's daughter, Rima, is preparing a journalistic investigation into drug use at the university. Nada tells Samar about her relationship with Yasser, and Dr. Yassin tries to expel Youssef for drug use.

Rima posts an article about drug abuse on the university's website, so Ibrahim threatens her to stay away. Mounir Al Aswany returns Youssef to the university and removes Rima's post. Yasser is suspended from playing in the university team, Nada puts drugs for Rima, so Samar hides them from security.

As Yasser breaks off his relationship with Nada because of her drug use, Naji swindles Yasser out of a large sum of money in exchange for him playing professionally for a club abroad, and Nada tells his father about the matter. Sherifa asks Ismail to falsify her test result on the website.

Sherifa quarrels with Ismail after he fails to change her test result, and Maryam runs for the student union elections.

As Albert, Rima's father, is assassinated, Maryam, with the help of Hussein, proves that Heba was harassed by Dr. Naji, so he is fired from the university, and Taher tells Rima that her father is alive.

As Youssef starts taking heroin, Ismail likes Rima, and Youssef reveals Tamer’s plan to defame Maryam. Moreover, Samar confesses her love to Dr. Ahmed.

As Ahmed receives Samar's confession with coldness, Youssef begins to help Malak in the elections, and Albert contacts Rima and she confirms that he is alive. Nada quarrels with Yasser and he threatens to kill her, so an order is issued to arrest Yasser.

Yasser is arrested on charges of attempting to murder Nada, Samar's father decides to return her to Saudi Arabia after discovering that she is studying journalism, and Malak discovers that Youssef is taking drugs. On the other hand, Ismail discovers that Marianne loves him.

As Rima discovers that her father has received bribes from parties, Ibrahim confesses to Youssef that he has tried to kill Nada, and Samar discovers the matter. However, Ibrahim dies of an overdose, and Nada's condition worsens.

As Nada regains consciousness and acquits Yasser, Yasser convinces his father to let Samar stay with him, so Yasser returns to university. Basil refuses to marry Rima because of the age difference, and Malak begins to fall in love with Youssef.

Youssef takes heroin excessively and starts selling the house furniture, and Sherifa returns and apologizes to Ismail after her mother's death.

Samar wins the UNESCO Short Story Prize with Amjad's help, Marianne quarrels with Ismail over his relationship with Rima, and Heba and Yasser's relationship grows stronger. On the other hand, Nada recovers and begins to pray and attend religious classes.

As Youssef enters a drug addiction treatment center with the help of Malak, Heba’s relationship with Yasser becomes stronger, and Amjad falls in love with Samar. Moreover, Youssef leaves the hospital temporarily and goes back to taking drugs, and Rima faints when she sees her father.

As Youssef returns to the hospital to complete his treatment, Yasser proposes to Heba and he gets the opportunity to play in a club in Belgium. Laila agrees to Rima's move to live in London with her father, and Ahmed Zakaria steals Samar's novel and publishes it under his name.

As Albert travels and leaves Rima after promising her to travel together, Basil returns to Rima and they get engaged. Amjad proves that Ahmed has stolen Samar’s novel, Malak denies her relationship with Youssef at the union party, Ismail confesses his love to Marianne, and Yasser is seriously injured.
