Despite their loaded history, Ali Al-Badry turns over a new leaf with Zohra and decides to marry her. As Ali consults Anisa, Zohra speaks to her father about the marriage.

Allam Al-Samahy dies after he finds out about what happened to his son in Iraq. Ali tries to resolve his legal issues to return to work. As Ali reveals to Zohra that Sherine is pregnant, he receives a tempting offer that would give him a lot of power.

Ali Al-Badry asks Soliman for Zohra's hand, but Soliman hinges his agreement on Ali making Zaher his partner in the factory in Al-Helmiya. Zohra asks for the marriage to be postponed. Sherina agrees to go back to Ali. Selim's motor function gets affected.

Ali is caught between Zohra, who is no longer sure that she wants to marry him, and Sherine, who wants to remarry him. As Ali decides to take Sherine back, Zohra gets over her hesitance, leaving Ali in a tight spot.

Despite his troubles, Ali decides to marry Zohra, as Sherine prepares to give birth. As Soliman's brother-in-law passes away, he insists on making his funeral.

Ali accepts the deal that will restore his power. When he goes to Cairo to attend the celebration of the birth of his newborn son, Zohra decides to go as well, telling Sherine about her marriage to Ali.

When Sherine learns about Ali and Zohra's marriage, she returns to her family home and asks for a divorce. Master Sayed Abu Leila takes over the management of Al-Samahy's coffee shop. Adel decides to appoint Galal Shehab in his stead.

Ali supports Anisa when she falls ill. Soliman Ghanem's lawyer informs Zohra that Fathiya has a son with Soliman, making both the child and Fathiya entitled to a share of his money.

When Zohra informs Soliman of what the lawyer said, Soliman asks her to be the custodian for Fathiya's son. Zohra falls pregnant. Al-Badry's companies are released from under governmental custody.

Ali decides to visit his father, who has sequestered himself in Alexandria, leaving the two to reflect on their memories. Zohra gets hospitalized after stress causes her to miscarry.

As the US invades Iraq, Adel clashes with his Palestinian wife over the events. Galal's ex-wife visits Adel to ask for Galal's address. Adel forbids his mother from selling her building.

As Ali tries to win Sherine back, she insists on a divorce, and he gives her two weeks to think about it. Ali consults Galal as he tries to reconcile with Zohra as well. Galal tells Ali that he needs to divorce one of them.

With Fathiya's son Fathy in Soliman's custody, Soliman rejoices in the company. Ali reconciles with Zohra. Adel asks his Palestinian wife to leave the field of politics after she expresses her support for Iraq.

Soliman and his lawyer discuss the chances of his children winning the interdiction case against him. Sherine visits Ali's company and insists on a divorce, but Ali manages to placate her. Tawfik tries to balance his relationship with his two wives.

Zakaria complains about his son's misconduct, confronting him and slapping his son. As chaos spreads at the factory, Zakaria takes charge to settle matters, but he ends up hospitalized after he falls ill. Nazik tells Ali about her dream in which he died.

Ali asks Adel to partner up with him. Soliman informs Zaher that he will go to a rehab center abroad to recover. When Al-Badry group faces a cash problem, Ali thinks about bringing Zaher in as a partner. Soliman thinks about a way to become Adel's partner.

When Zaher buys 48% of the shares of the Al-Helmiya factory, he tries to impose his control on the factory and demand to have an office. Zaher's children get injured in a car accident.

Zakaria returns from his recovery trip, only to discover that his son is in love with the daughter of a carver. Nazik's partner, Tal'at Al-Shamashergy, decides to marry her. Faten tries to find her mother.

Taher decides to tell Faten about her mother's location. As Faten reunites with her mother, she tries to convince her to stop working at the nightclub and find a new source of income.

After years of separation, Galal reunites with his son and daughter. Ali is angry that Adel has partnered up with Zaher, which angers Selim. Adel is annoyed with the way Zaher is acting.

Sayed Abu Leila intercedes to discipline Zakaria's son for trying to assault Selim Jr.'s classmate. Acting on Ali's advice, Adel thinks of a way to get Zaher out of the factory.

Fathiya decides to visit her son Magdy, but he refuses to go with her. Soliman asks Fathiya to swear on the Holy Quran that Magdy is his son. Sherine confronts her husband Ali over his reaction to her second pregnancy.

As Adel offers for Zakaria's son to go on a scholarship to London, he discovers that Nazik went to Switzerland to stay in a cosmetic rehab center. Selim Jr. decides to leave the apartment in Al-Helmiya and live alone.

Hamdiya finds Samasem on the streets and takes her in. As Hamdiya tells Taher about his mother, Taher meets her for the first time. Tawfik returns to Egypt. Basiouny gets released from prison.

Kamal Khela is surprised when Bessa gets released. Mostafa receives a warning from Ali Al-Badry that the factory will be closed. Mostafa and Kamal try to negotiate with Ali, who learns that Tawfik is hiding at home.

Nazik pays one and a half million to partner up with Tal'at. Suhaila is saddened by the Gaza-Jericho Agreement. Qamar reveals to Adel that her husband took another wife.

While visiting Taher, Qamar discovers that her mother is still alive. Ali discovers that Zohra's magazine is running a harmful investigative article. When Ali confronts Sherine about the investigation, she breaks down before passing away.

Sherine's funeral is held after the investigative report is published. Soliman quarrels with Ali. When Ali discovers that the person who ran the investigative report is Sherine's ex-fiancé, he suspects that Zohra has something to do with it.

Ali meets Tawfik in Anisa's house and asks him for forgiveness, revealing that he is in trouble with the State Security over his terrorist connections. Samasem returns to Al-Helmiya, expressing shock at how everything has changed.

Hany Mourad asks Ali to have his wife Zohra publish an apology for the report that Sherine's ex-fiancé wrote. Hany decides to end his business with Ali.

Nazik decides to sell the building in Al-Helmiya, which puts Adel and Zohra in a tight spot. Zohra is forced to stay in the house of her husband's other wife. Ali remains upset with Zohra over the article.

When Zaher crosses his boundaries, the workers stand up to him. The police look for Tawfik, prompting Anisa and Ali to try and find him. Tawfik hides in Roqaya's house.

As Ali tries to figure out a way to get Tawfik out of trouble, he starts to suspect that Zohra was the one who leaked his secret information. Karim publishes another article about Ali, using a photo of a secret contract that belongs to Ali.

Ali tries to identify the person responsible for leaking the partnership contract between him and Hany Mourad to the press. Zaher considers buying Adel's share in the factory. When Adel agrees, Soliman feels like he has finally triumphed over the Al-Badry family.

Hamdiya reveals to Zeinhoum that his father used to be a drummer. Ali thinks about the great risks he will endure after dissolving his partnership with Hany Mourad, leading his lawyer to caution him against the decision.

After accusing Nahla of theft, Ali tries to make it up to her. Soliman orders his lawyer to buy an apartment for the mother of his son Magdy. Ali decides to send his children to live with Anisa.

Nazik and Tal'at open a tourist village, inviting Ali to the opening ceremony. Sayed Abu Leila gets stabbed. As an investigation is launched, he hangs between life and death. Ali decides to confront Hany Mourad.

Tal'at quarrels with Soliman after he sees him with Nazik. Hany Mourad vows revenge on Tal'at. It's revealed that Roqaya's husband will take four and a half million pounds from her to pay for an arms deal.

Roqaya's husband tries to find the message containing information about the arms deal. Roqaya decides to close the company, regardless of the loss. The police question Sayed Abu Leila. Qamar and Faten meet and share their troubles.

Selim Jr. tells his brothers about the girl he loves. When the police find Tawfik, he makes a deal with them in exchange for the information he has. Zohra tries to figure out if Ali has taken another wife. Ali decides to run for the elections against Zaher.
