Contractor Haroun, the owner of a building in Al Mamurah, Alexandria, is the father of three daughters and lives in the hope that his wife will give him a son. A group of residents live in the building, and multiple thefts occur after the arrival of Makram Abdel Qayyum, an energy scientist who holds American citizenship, and everyone, including the detective, thinks that he is the perpetrator.
