Liz is summoned to the new CEO's office, and he assigns her to hire Tracy Jordan on The Girlie Show to attract more male viewers.

The program's crew becomes unsure about Tracy joining them, the name of the program is changed, and Liz and Tracy decide to hold a party on a yacht after they feel blamed by everyone.

Jack convinces Liz to go out on a date with his pal, Thomas, and Jack invites himself to a writers' porker night but fails to anticipate Kenneth's actions.

Jack attends the show's writing sessions, and the writers find his ideas annoying. Jack becomes angry after Liz tells him to stop, and Tracy sends appetizers to Kenneth while he attends a game at the Yankee's Stadium.

Liz wants to include Jack in one of the segments of the program, but it ends badly. Liz suspects Jack's inability to read, and Frank and Toofer trick Jenna into thinking Jack will fire an actor.

Liz gets back together with her ex-boyfriend Dennis and Jack warns her against him. Jenna fakes her real age in front of Jack, and Tracy's fears are allayed.

Jack makes Jenna feel as though he doesn't respect her by bumping her from the Conan show for Tracy. On the other hand, Liz struggles with how she feels about breaking up with Dennis.

Jenna takes Liz to the city after her breakup with Dennis and Jack faces troubles in his new relationship. Toofer gets into a disagreement with Tracy over the stereotypical view of African Americans.

Liz discovers that Kerry is engaged to a man whom she does not know well. Liz fears that she has reached menopause and tells Jenna that she wants to get a donor so that she can get pregnant by him. Jack becomes angry at his mother's constant calls to him, and Tracy seeks to fire Josh.

Jenna gets angry at Liz for thinking her latest film is a flop, and Jack helps Tracy market a cooking device.

Jenna's attempts to match Liz with a high-ranking man in the company fail, Jack and Kenneth switch jobs for the day, and Tracy begins writing his memoirs.

Jack asks Liz to accompany him to a royal birthday party and introduces her to his ex-wife as his lover. Tracy throws a party at the office and invites dancers to restore Pete's self-confidence.

Liz forces the crew to work on Valentine's Day night and receives an anonymous bouquet of flowers. Jack and Bianca meet to finalize the details of the divorce, and Jack celebrates his divorce with Tracy.

Liz decides to become a kinder manager after discovering that she is being called a derogatory word by the writing team.

Kenneth joins Tracy's team. Liz disrupts Jack's discussions over Josh's new contract, and Jenna gets into hot water for remarks she made in a magazine interview.

Liz starts dating Steven, an African-American, and when she gets bored of him, he accuses her of being racist. Jack seeks to break up a dispute between Tracy and the rap producer, Ridiculous.

Jack's brother, Eddie, announces the death of their father. Liz is tasked with firing 10% of her employees, which increases the pressure on her. Liz watches Floyd, who has a secret crush on his lover.

As Jack uses Kenneth to scout a rival, Liz tries to grab the attention of a man she likes. Tracy discovers that he's a descendant of Thomas Jefferson.

After the fireworks disaster, Don Geiss interferes with Jack's work. Things develop between Floyd, Liz, and Jack, and Tracy presents a film about Thomas Jefferson in front of Don.

As Liz thinks about moving to Cleveland with her boyfriend, Tracy believes the Black Crusaders are after him because he insulted them. Jack is having sexual problems with his new fiancée.

In an attempt to elude the "Black Crusaders," Tracy goes missing before the last show, but Kenneth confesses that he's actually living with his cousin. In the meantime, Jack ends up in the hospital due to stress related to his impending marriage and his mother's visit.
