Kamal Abdel Samad, the son of a tax employee, is a student at the Faculty of Medicine and is in love with his wealthy classmate, Noura, the daughter of the butcher Halawa Al Antabli. He strongly rejects their relationship and frames his father for a bribery crime that puts him in prison.
