Fawaz sits with Shahd and tells her mother that he wants to marry her daughter as soon as possible; meanwhile, he shirks his responsibilities toward his daughters.

Fawaz asks his brother, Abdel Rahim, to prepare the price of the land as soon as possible, deludes him into thinking that he will take the money to undergo surgery, and asks him not to tell Nawara. Azhar tells her mother that she does not want to marry Nagati.

Abdel Qader asks Fawaz to bring forward the date of the wedding of his son, Nagati, and Azhar, to which Fawaz agrees. As Nawara asks her uncle, Sheikh Taher, to intervene, he asks Nagati to let Azhar complete her education after marriage.

Taher takes Azhar to Alexandria to ask her father to stop her marriage to Nagati. Fawaz refuses Taher's request and tells him that Azhar will get married after a month as per his agreement with Sheikh Abdel Qader. Fawaz sells his land to Abdel Rahim.

Fawaz refuses Dr. Safwan's suggestion to bring his wife and children to live in Alexandria and let Azhar complete her studies. Nawara tells Abdel Qader that Azhar will not marry Nagati until after she finish her education.

As Taher and Nawara intervene to stop Azhar's marriage to Nagati, they succeed in the matter. Sheikh Abdel Qader tells Fawaz that he does not want him to be his relative by marriage and that he will wed Nagati to another girl. Fawaz marries Shahd.

Adel tells his sister, Nawara, that her husband, Fawaz, has married another woman. Fawaz divorces Nawara after she threatens to repudiate (khul) him in court.

Fawaz becomes depressed after his divorce from Nawara, who tells her daughters that she will only pay attention to their personal interests and that she will strive to help them complete their university education.

Saad asks Nawara for her daughter Yasmine's hand in marriage. Sheikh Abdel Qader gets angry with his son, Saad, after he learns of his visit to Nawara's house. Fawaz quits working for Master Ibrahim El Nadi.

Adel becomes ecstatic after learning that his wife is pregnant. Fawaz tells Shahd that he will sell the rest of his land to Abdel Rahim in order to buy her a large apartment in Alexandria.

Yasmine learns from her uncle, Abdel Rahim, that her father sold his land, whereupon Yasmine tells her mother that her father sold his land to Madbouly, the mayor's son, and that her uncle will send the money to her father in Alexandria.

Abdel Rahim sends the rest of the money from the selling of the land to Fawaz, who tells his daughter, Yasmine, that he will take care of her marriage expenses as well as those of her sister, Azhar, if they choose the path of marriage.

Majeeda quarrels with Nawara and her daughters and warns them not to approach her husband, Madbouly, who decides to divorce Majeeda because of what she did with his aunt Nawara and her daughters.

Abdel Qader tells his sister Nawara that he does not like her current situation, especially since her three daughters go to university, and this situation is unacceptable to him.

Saad meets his beloved Yasmine at the university, tells her that he will not abandon her no matter what happens, and reassures her that he will let her to complete her studies after marriage.

Nawara asks Abdel Qader to give her her land back so that she can cultivate part of it and sell another part if she has to. Abdel Qader gets angry at Nawara's talk and quarrels with her.

Morsi, Shahd's ex-husband, threatens to tell her husband about her many marriages if she does not give him back his money. As Abdel Qader refuses his sister Nawara's request, a war begins between them.

Nawara quarrels with Abdel Qader over the land again, after which she decides to take her daughters and go to Alexandria to stay with her aunt Nafisa.

Nawara refuses her brother Abdel Qader's request to return with him to Upper Egypt and tells him that she has settled in Alexandria. Abdel Qader threatens to kill Nawara if she doesn't return with her daughters to Upper Egypt within a week.

Saad goes to Yasmine and her mother, Nawara, and tells them that he will marry Yasmine no matter what his father, Abdel Qader, does. Nawara refuses her brother Ali's request to return to Upper Egypt.

Adel is blessed with twins. Abdel Qader tells Adel that Nawara's land is legally very small and that he will not agree to buy it and will take the matter to court. Fawaz grows suspicious of the behavior of his wife, Shahd.

Nawara goes crazy when she sees Fawaz, and asks him to leave the place, upon which Fawaz tells her that he will resort to court to get his daughters from her.

Wael takes a liking to his fellow student, Yasmine, and asks his friend, Afkar, about her. As Nawara feels that she is no longer welcomed by her aunt Nafisa, she decides to leave with her daughters.

Fawaz rejoices when he learns that Shahd is pregnant with a boy. Nafisa refuses Nawara's departure from the house and tells her that everything she thinks is wrong and that she cannot abandon her.

As Nawara learns that Fulla has been hit by a car, she loses her head out of fear for her daughter. Fawaz rushes to the hospital to check on his daughter, Fulla.

Fawaz finds out that Morsi is the one who orchestrated the hit-and-run of Fulla, and decides to take revenge on him. Wael tells Yasmine that he has liked her since he first saw her.

Nawara learns that he who tried to kill her daughter is a man who is at loggerheads with her ex-husband, Fawaz. Majeeda tries to get back together with her ex-husband, Madbouly.

Nagati divorces his wife. As Sheikh Taher tries to intervene in order to reconcile Majeeda and Madbouly, he asks her father to agree that the two get back together.

Abdel Qader quarrels with his wife and asks her to leave his house, after which he suffers a heart attack and falls unconscious. Fawaz tells Shahd that he will not abandon her or his son.

Madbouly gets back together with his wife Majeeda. Fawaz is blessed with a boy. Fawaz beats Wael to death after he tries to assault Yasmine. He then bids Nawara farewell and asks her to forgive him. Nawara and her daughters return to Upper Egypt.
