After 7 years, Farid returns from the war after Egypt's victory in the October War of 1973, and he succeeds in fulfilling Youssef's promise to fight and restore the land. Fawzia tries to help Fahmy out of his depression. Farid tries to solve his problems with his sister Ferial.

Farid discovers that Fahmy sold his share of the villa to Fawzia. Ferial asks her colleague not to rush their marriage. Fawzia's sons leave home and go to their father, and a fancy car comes to the Khan, only for everyone to discover that its owner is Al-Saht.

Everyone is shocked to see how rich Al-Saht has become, while Abbas Al-Dow becomes suspicious of how he found this wealth. Fahmy asks Ferial to take the gold of his late wife. Galal returns to Cairo.

Galal goes to visit Nabila, but he does not find anyone at home. Everyone celebrates at the wedding, while Fawzia tries to get close to Al-Saht. A mysterious visitor comes to Abbas Al-Dow’s house and he thinks that he is Youssef.

The mystery visitor turns out to be Bessah's husband, Alqas who got out of prison. He decides to start over and leave his old life behind. Amira remembers her life with Galal.

Farid meets Al-Saht and Miri. Galal goes to visit Imam, and tells him that Amira married an antique smuggler, while Farid admires Amira. Troubles increase between Ferial and Thuryia.

Mai tells her mother she wants to get married but her mother disapproves and tells her about how her father left them. Ferial wants Farid to leave Thuryia because she's not right for him.

Roqia gets a job opportunity in Oman but Ali disapproves. Nahla dreams of meeting Dr. Imam, and Galal makes her meet him. Farid fights with Thuryia, and she leaves the house.

Thuryia returns to her mother’s home and decides to stay away from Farid. Galal asks Nabila to get married again for Mai's sake. Fawzia threatens Al-Saht to stay away from her father’s house.

Ferial decides not to travel to complete her education, as she wants to do a project with Al-Saht and Farid. Thuryia remembers her relationship with Youssef. News spreads in the Khan that Youssef has returned alive.

As Youssef returns after over 7 years of absence, he remembers the years of torture at the hands of the enemy. He discovers that Thuryia and Farid got married according to his will and they have a child named Yusuf. He meets Ferial and they remember the past together.

Mai blames her father for leaving her. Ferial tells Youssef that she will leave her fiancé and return to him, and Youssef fears the reaction of his father. Youssef finds out that Mon'em has left his wife and married Fawzia.

Mon'em quarrels with Eibada and trashes the store. Galal tries to mend his relationship with his daughter Mai, but he fails.

Khalil quarrels with Amira because of her meetings with Galal. Abbas goes to Eibada to apologize to him for what Mon'em did.

Amira confesses to Khalil that she still loves Galal. Roqia and her mother Samiha are preparing to travel for the pilgrimage. Youssef tries to fix matters between Mon'em and his first wife, but she refuses.

Youssef and Ferial are engaged. Thuryia discovers that she is pregnant, and Roqia tries to persuade her to spend her life with Farid. Youssef discovers that Al-Saht is planning to put his hand on the neighborhood's land and build a hotel instead.

Youssef is angry at Ferial, Al-Saht, and Farid's plan to buy the Khan Yusef’s homes and decides to stand up to them. Farid learns that Thuryia wants to get a divorce. Roqia decides to travel but changes her mind at the last minute.

Youssef asks Mon'em to put an end to Fawzia's outrageous behaviors. Alqas works as a security guard for Khalil and Amira. Amira confesses to Galal that she sacrificed her life for his success, and Khalil threatens Amira with divorce.

Mon'em goes to steal gold from his wife's store, but someone is watching him and steals everything. Mon'em decides to take back his first wife and children. Youssef tries to fix matters between Thuryia and Farid, but fails.

Eibada learns that his son Ahmed stole the money that Mon'em had hidden in the graves. Fawzia asks Ferial to give up her share in the villa in exchange for giving her an apartment.

Farid, Al-Saht, and Fawzia go to Dr. Imam in order to persuade him to waive his right to his apartment to build the hotel. Fawzia discovers that her money has been stolen. As she goes to Mon'em to ask for her money, he assaults her.

Ferial tries to find out if Youssef has feelings for Thuryia and he tells her that he never loved anyone but her. The police arrest Mon'em for locking up Fawzia, and she returns home.

Eibada discovers that Ahmed didn't return the money to his mother, and Mon'em goes with the police to show them the location of the bag filled with gold and money, but he finds it gone. Khalil forces Bessah to drink alcohol, and Alqas asks her to return to the Khan.

Abbas confesses to Youssef and Imam that Salama Farawila's money is stolen from the treasures of the country, and Imam concludes that Al-Saht stole what remains of the treasure as a source of his wealth.

Youssef helps Thuryia with her studies. Ferial asks Thuryia to return to Farid but she refuses.

Galal tells Al-Saht that he will expose the truth about his wealth. Eibada and Fahmy try to save Ahmed before it's too late. Eibada tells Fawzia that Ahmed was the one who stole the money.

Farid and Ferial try to persuade Youssef to agree to the idea of ​​selling the houses of the Khan, but he refuses to cooperate with them. Al-Saht tells Youssef that he will tell him the source of his wealth at the right time.

Amira escapes from Khalil's home. Khalil tries to rape Bessah, but she pushes him into the pool and he dies. Fawzia asks Ahmed to return her money, but he tells her that she must repent. Bessah struggles with addiction.

Khalil's body is found in the pool. Mon'em is released, and he tells the people of the Khan that their rights were taken away by Salama Farawila's family. Dr. Imam decides to intervene to solve Thuryia's problems with Farid.

The police arrest Farid for being a suspect in Khalil's murder. Galal confronts Amira about Khalil's death, but he discovers that she knows nothing about it. He asks her to turn herself in and promises to help her.

Fahmy tells Ferial that their father's money is ill-gotten. Galal is called in to investigate Khalil's death. Mai asks Amira to stay away from her father. Galal tells Mai that Amira was the only one who stood by him.

Farid tells Ferial that he will marry Amira. Abbas tells Salama's children that their father stole the country’s treasure and Al-Saht seized what was left of it. The police suspect that Alqas killed Khalil, but Bessah confesses that she killed him.

As Ferial continues to search for the truth, Farid asks her to stop searching. Al-Saht asks for Thuryia's hand, and she kicks him out.

Ahmed steals his mother's money and runs away. Galal walks away from Amira after she takes the inheritance of her deceased husband. Ferial decides to travel abroad and leave Youssef.
