Ra'fat pays Mostafa to steal some important documents and reveal the secrets of Gharib's company, but Mostafa tells Gharib before enacting his plans. Gharib gets mad at Rashad for leaking the company's secrets.

Tal'at proposes to Ekhlas, but Gharib disapproves of the match due to Tal'at's bad behavior. Nader and Nagwa get in an accident.

Nader gets out of the hospital in bad spirits due to his inability to walk. Nagwa discovers that she is unable to have children. Gharib asks for Nagwa's hand in marriage to Nader.

As Nagwa helps Nader to recover, the couple celebrates their marriage. Ekhlas and Zeinab are upset with Nagwa over her cold treatment of them.

Ashraf discovers that Gharib has set him up and he has checks that could get Ashraf imprisoned. Nagwa warns Nader against Rashad's domination of Gharib's company.

As Nader's condition improves, he starts his job at his father's company, along with Nagwa. Gharib accuses his son Rashad of profiting off the company, but Rashad manages to prove his innocence.

Rashad and Nader start to clash. Gharib's favoritism of Nader shows as he plans to put Nader in charge of managing the company over Rashad.

Rashad falls ill and gets rushed to the hospital. Gharib discovers that Ekhlas is in a relationship with Salah. Nagwa suspects that Rashad has another wife, other than Zeinab.

As Gharib's health goes downhill, he becomes unable to manage the company. Salah marries Ekhlas. Nader tries to figure out the reason why he and Nagwa haven't had kids.

Ramzy discovers that Rashad has a brain tumor. Nagwa tells Zeinab that Rashad has another wife.

Gharib gives a procuration to Nader to manage his fortune. Zeinab learns that Fardous is not Rashad's wife, but merely a widow whose expenses he has been covering. Rashad passes away after his health deteriorates.

Salah clashes with Nagwa. Nagwa threatens Mostafa to keep him from telling Gharib anything about the company.

Nader forces Saleh into retirement. Ekhlas discovers that Salah is married to a woman called Azhar, and that he is an ex-con. Gharib rebukes Nader for his bad management of the company.

As Gharib cancels the procuration that he gave Nader, he gets Salah to work in the company, which only intensifies the conflict between him and Nagwa. Nagwa claims to be pregnant and throws herself down the stairs, accusing Zeinab of pushing her. A fake doctor tells Nader that Nagwa had a miscarriage.

Nagwa's father rebukes his daughter for her evil plans and her false accusation of Zeinab. Nagwa enlists Allam's help to bring Salah down.

When Salah reports Allam for trying to bribe him, Nagwa refuses to admit to putting Allam up to it and denies having any connection with him. Nagwa reports Salah to the police for impersonating another's identity.

As Salah gets arrested, he tells Ekhlas about the fraud cases that he was involved in and promises to repent.

Due to Nagwa and Nader's policies, Mostafa leaves the company and asks to retire. Nader asks Gharib to write the company over to him, or else he will leave it.

Zeinab and Ekhlas leave the family house and move into Saleh's house. Nagwa tries to convince Ekhlas to sue Salah for divorce.

As Nader tries to interdict Gharib, the latter's health goes downhill. Ramzy threatens Nader to get him to drop the case.

When Gharib passes away from a broken heart, Nader grows to regret what he did. Gharib leaves a will, admitting to seizing the fortune of Zeinab's father. Nagwa is arrested for trying to rob Ramzy's house.
