After his father's death, Ahmed takes charge of his father's company and fortune to secure his brothers' future. Effat refuses to marry Ahmed's friend because of her love for Rushdie.

Ahmed deals with the fact that his father left him and his brothers no money to run the company or meet the demands of life. Wajih tells Effat to stay away from Rushdie. Ahmed hires Ilham in the company.

Saeed recalls the memories of war and how his lifelong friend sacrificed himself for him. Farid refuses to divorce Shouhra. Essam and Mamdouh plot to defraud Ahmed.

Naira falls in love with Saeed. Mamdouh tries to get close to Ilham. After Farid accuses Shouhra of having an affair with Wagdy, he takes advantage of the matter and blackmails Wagdy's brother, Ahmed.

Wajih rejects Saadia's demands to keep him away from her daughter, Shouhra. Naira confesses to Saeed her feelings towards him, but he evades her. Shouhra tells her mother that Farid is cheating on her.

Ahmed speaks frankly with Ilham about his old love and his troubled marriage. The relationship between Saeed and Sawsan reaches a dead end. Mamdouh asks Ilham to work as a broker to sell apartments in his project.

Effat warns Naira off her feelings towards Saeed. Ilham decides to continue her studies after Effat mocks her. Ahmed doubts the intentions of Essam, Sameh and Mamdouh

When Ilham suspects that there is a relationship between Ahmed and Karima, she cuts off her work because of jealousy, after which Ahmed goes to reconcile with her and confesses his love to her. Naira tells Saeed that she is afraid of ruining his marriage with Sawsan.

When Ahmed discovers Essam's attempts to get close to Ilham, he threatens her to make her stay away from him. Ahmed discovers from Essam that he has taken seisin of the land on which they built the project.

Effat objects to Ahmed's desire to marry Ilham. Wajih is seriously injured while doing his military service. Essam reveals his intentions to Sameh by wanting to take control of Ahmed's company.

Sawsan discovers that there is a relationship between Saeed, her husband, and Naira. Since that Ilham has changed her way with Ahmed, she accepts working as a mediator to sell Mamdouh's apartments. Wajih is released from the hospital. Sawsan tells Ahmed about his sister's relationship with Saeed.

Ilham gets closer to Essam and Mamdouh to take revenge on Ahmed because of her mistaken belief that he has cheated on her with Karima. Wajih asks Ahmed to give him a large sum of money to hand it to Farid to divorce Shouhra. Ilham refuses to marry Ahmed.

Effat gets implicated when she agrees on engineering designs for a property that becomes in danger of collapse after it is built. Essam buys a new apartment for Ilham.

As Effat discovers that Rushdie is implicating her in the property's case, Ahmed forces him to admit to the act, then Effat is acquitted. Ahmed ends his relationship with Ilham, who submits her resignation from the company before he presses charges on Mamdouh and Essam for corruption and tax evasion.

Ilham regrets her separation from Ahmed, who begins to get close to Karima. Naira and Saeed agree to part. Farid divorces Shouhra after Wajih threatens him to report his suspicious actions.

Essam and Mamdouh report Ahmed to the police after he got implicated in signing bad checks. After Karima asks Ilham to confess to the prosecution the conspiracy that was hatched up against Ahmed, Ilham agrees and the prosecution releases Ahmed following the arrest of Mamdouh and Essam.
