While Abu Maatouk (Maatouk's father) quarrels with his son when he learns about his school suspension, Abu Habis agrees to let his daughter, Dalal, hold her birthday party. Meantime, Shabib thinks that Abu Maatouk is a senior official in the country, so he tries to get close to him.
When Abu Maatouk invites Abu Habis to his house, after mediating with him to hire his son Maatouk, and borrows a large amount of money for the latter to set up a project. Elsewhere, Abu Khalil submits a complaint against Abu Habis, accusing him of causing his wife's illness.
Abu Habis learns that Abu Maatouk quit his job as a courier in Abdul Rahman's company and is working in trading. When Abu Sakhi gets sick and is taken to the hospital, Abu Habis worries about his money, Abu Sakhi has.
As Abu Habis tries to get close to Manal when he learns that she is divorced, Maatouk starts giving Habis drugs to control him and asks him for money.
Dalal is preparing to travel to study abroad, and Maatouk works with Moshawah in drug dealing. Elsewhere, Abu Habis tells Abu Sakhi of his desire to be with Manal.
Hasina tells Abu Habis that she is worried about Habis and asks him to keep him away from Maatouk. Later on, Manal refuses to marry Abu Habis, and Abu Maatouk buys a shop at El Maqasis Market. Maatouk informs Habis about his dealing in drugs.
As Abdul Rahman informs Abu Maatouk that he wants to run in the elections, Manal agrees to marry Abu Habis. Later on, Hasina gets sick, and Abu Habis takes her to the hospital.
Abdul Rahman agrees with Abu Maatouk to be partners in the trade, and Dalal returns from her travels to take care of Hasina during her illness.
When the police arrest Abu Habis, accusing him of trading in drugs, Abu Sakhi tells the latter that Manal does not love him, and asks him to stay away from her. Meantime, Abdul Rahman demands that Maatouk pay his share in awarding the tender to his father.
Abu Maatouk mediates with Abu Habis to have Shabib forgive the money he borrowed from him. As Abu Habis negotiates with Manal to marry him in return for paying off her brother Abu Maatouk's debts, Abu Sakhi informs the former that Habis wants to marry Manal.
Umm Maatouk (Maatouk's mother) is forced to sell the house to pay her husband's debts. As Maatouk tells his mother about his love for Dalal and his desire to marry her, Habis informs Dalal that Maatouk is a drug dealer.
Abu Habis surprises Abu Maatouk by asking for Manal's hand in marriage for his son, Habis, while Abdul Rahman wins the elections.
Maatouk marries Dalal, and Habis and Manal also wed, whereupon Habis returns to his father's house and asks Maatouk to leave the drug trade.
It is revealed that Maatouk stole his wife Dalal's jewelry. Elsewhere, Abu Habis asks Shabib to buy a house for his son, Habis, to live in with his wife, Manal.
When Habis tells Abu Maatouk that his father is thinking of selling his house, Abu Maatouk agrees with Abu Habis on some tender in favor of the latter. Maatouk also agrees with Moshawah to sell drugs, and the former's house is prepared for that matter.
As Abu Maatouk asks Abu Habis to buy the house, Maatouk discovers that Dalal is pregnant. In the meantime, Moshawah agrees with Wasim to leave the shipment of drugs in his possession.
Dalal loses her fetus, and the police raid the houses of Abu Habis and Maatouk in search of the shipment of drugs.
As Abu Habis informs Abu Maatouk that the police are searching Maatouk, the police raid Abu Maatouk's house and arrest Abu Sakhi in the market for interrogation.
Abu Habis insists on divorcing his daughter from Maatouk, and as the police search Abu Maatouk's house and find drugs, they arrest him.
The police release Abu Maatouk after arresting his son and bringing him to prison. While debts are incurred by Abu Habis, Umm Rami thinks that Abu Habis wants to marry her.
Abu Maatouk asks Abdul Rahman to mediate for his son's release from prison. Meanwhile, the maid Luca accuses Abu Habis of raping her.
When Habis and his wife return from their travels, he thinks of selling their house in order to pay off his father's debts. Meantime, Abu Habis tells Pascal that he wants to marry her.
Shabib marries the maid, Luca, after it's been revealed that he assaulted her. Meanwhile, Manal gives birth to twins, Abu Habis is able to pay off his debts, and Abdul Rahman marries Umm Rami secretly.
As Abdul Rahman is forced to divorce Umm Rami after his marriage is revealed, the cafe's busboy, Naseem, falls in love with Pascal. Elsewhere, Umm Maatouk takes over the management of her husband's shop.
