Meshreh is a retired employee who lives in a house next to the police station, and Colonel Emad is mad because of the noises coming from Meshreh's TV. Meshreh is shocked when his wall breaks as an air conditioner is being installed at the police station.

As the press visits Meshreh's house, he shows them the court ruling which declares he has the right to a few centimeters in the land that the police station is built on. Emran tells Azza, a girl with a case of sexual misconduct, about the issue of the wall, and she pursues Awad.

When Emran requests to meet Meshreh, the latter shows up at the police station disguised as a detective, which enrages Emran.

A man harasses Aida, Meshreh's daughter, on her way home after school, and Hamdiya insists on taking him to the police station. Hamdiya makes fake phone calls to the police station, and Emran learns the truth behind her act.

A troubled Motaw'ie goes to the police station, and Meshreh helps him resolve his issue. He meets with the informant, Mabrouk. Following a quarrel with his family, Emran stays at Meshreh's house for the night.

While taking his place in the queue to buy bread, Meshreh gets beaten by people, and Emran resolves the issue by having Meshreh distribute the bread on the buyers.

Hamdiya learns that Awad is seeing other women. Ma'aty accuses Awad of assaulting and manipulating Ma'aty's daughter, Ateyat, but Mabrouk proves Awad's innocence.

While Meshreh is away, a mad prisoner called Zanaty breaks into Meshreh's house and holds Hamdiya and Aida hostages, and the police try to save the two women.

A convict called Egaizy threatens to commit suicide at the police station and threatens to kill Meshreh.

When a group of foreigners arrives with a taxi driver, the driver tells Meshreh that they are from the Human Rights Association, promoting Meshreh and Emran to work together to enhance the department's image.

Meshreh and Hamdiya host a band and a belly dancer at their house. Meanwhile, Gamil, Hamdiya's relative, also arrives at Meshreh's house.

Meshreh considers opening up a photocopying center at the police station. Meanwhile, the new Chief of Detectives, Hazem Al-Mashad, arrives and quarrels with Meshreh.

Hazem wants to recruit Meshreh as a detective to bust a drug operation. Meanwhile, Boshra goes to Meshreh's house after her mother kicks her out.

It turns out that Boshra ran away because she didn't want to marry Lou'ay. As Boshra hides in Aida's room, Hamdiya quarrels with her, only for Boshra to realize that she must confront her family.

As a convict sprays everyone at the police station with his blood and tells them he has anthrax, it turns out he is a mere liar.

As Hamdiya finds an infant at their front door, she takes him in and looks after him, while the family tries to find his family. Eventually, the police find the baby's kidnappers and return him to his family.

Hazem sends Meshreh and his family on a mission to learn more about a felon called Kashar and his wife Sharbat.

As Meshreh meets a psychoanalyst, the latter gives him a book that analyzes the actions of adolescents; Meshreh and Hamdiya use the book as a reference as they observe their daughter Aida's actions.

Hazem asks Meshreh and Hamdiya to fake their identities and work undercover to solve the mystery of a man who was killed by his wife, but it turns out the man is still alive.

As Meshreh decides to take advantage of the wall's location to start a food-selling project, an urban planning commission arrives to examine the land and its ownership rights.

As Meshreh and Hamdiya cross paths with a pretty girl called Hasnaa, who has just broken off her engagement, they introduce her to a young man called Shaker and the two get married. Meshreh and Hamdiya are inspired to open a marriage bureau.

As Hamdiya wakes up with a strong feeling that their house is haunted, a state of terror encompasses the house, prompting Meshreh to call Sheikh Helal to exorcise the evil spirits from the house.

As Gamil takes Hassaan to the police station in the hopes of finding his house, it turns out that Hassaan is a thief, as he robs Meshreh's house.

Azza goes back to Meshreh's house and shows everyone an unregistered marriage contract, which states that she and Awad are married, and that he owes her money. Emran intervenes in an attempt to save Awad.

A man called Abu Al-Makarem arrives at the police station, and it unfolds that he is married to his boss Ashrakat, but he had an unregistered marriage with a girl called Sharaf. Meshreh and Hamdiya try to find out the truth about his marriages.

A man is arrested for beating up his wife and children. Meshreh learns that the man's wife's nonchalant manner is what drives him mad.

As Emran and Meshreh learn that it's Valentine's Day, they are surprised when their wives ask for gifts and attention.

Ratiba arrives at the police station and complains about her daughter's marriage behind the mother's back. Meshreh tries to reconcile the mother and the daughter.

As Boshra asks Meshreh to convince her father to let her marry Omar, Meshreh learns shocking facts about Omar.

As Hamdiya starts having hallucinations and sleepwalks, Awad brings her a sorceress called Aslia, but Emran arrests the imposter sorceress.
