As Abu Saleh (Saleh's father) suffers the recklessness of his son Saleh, he tries to convince Abu Hussein to marry off Layali to Saleh so that he gets his act together. Khazna treats her father-in-law, Abu Khaled, in a bad way.

Adel, Khazna's son, is addicted to drugs, and leaves home because of his quarrel with his grandfather, Abu Khaled, while Layali collapses and is taken to the hospital because her father insists on her marrying Saleh, who is arrested for public drunkenness.

Abu Ali asks for Layali's hand in marriage for his son Muhammad, and Khazna tries to convince Hussein's mother to cooperate with her in the charitable organization.

As Abu Adel discovers that his son is using drugs, he quarrels with his wife Khazna for kicking his father out of the house. Saleh beats Muhammad, who is taken to the hospital.

Abu Walid tries to convince Abu Khaled to return to his son's house. Adel dies and Khazna becomes paralyzed out of grief for him. Abu Hussein quarrels with his son and expels him from the house.

Layali tries to convince Hussein to return home, but the latter decides to travel abroad. Atwan kidnaps Layali, whose mother dies, and Abu Hussein becomes paralyzed.

Atwan confesses his love to Layali and refuses to release her. Muhammad is arrested on charges of killing Saleh.

Hussein returns from abroad. Layali tries to deceive Atwan with her love for him so that she can escape, after which he confesses to her that he killed Saleh. Abu Saleh overhears their conversation and informs the police, who arrest Atwan.
